NOURNEWS- After the heinous brutality and crimes committed by the Zionists against the oppressed people of Palestine, especially the defenseless people of Gaza, in the past three weeks, which took place after the historic defeat of the usurping Zionist regime in the Al-Aqsa storm operation, while holding the US directly responsible for crimes of the Zionist regime, other groups of the resistance front outside of Palestine, have threatened the US to target this country's military bases in the region.
A week after the start of the Iraqi Islamic resistance's operations against the American presence in Iraq and Syria, an informed source in the joint command center of operations talked with the correspondent of “NourNews” news agency about the decision-making moments of the resistance fronts and said:
The decision of the leadership of the Islamic resistance of Iraq was made when it became clear to them with conclusive evidence that the US was leading and supporting the Zionist regime in its battle against Gaza.
The decision of the Islamic resistance in Iraq to target the American bases in Syria is a strong message to the Americans and a turning point for the resistance front as a whole, and this message says: All the bases of the invaders in Iraq, Syria, and the Persian Gulf, that is, all of West Asia, are illegitimate and viable targets for the resistance groups.
After seeing the seriousness of the US in its support of Israel's crimes, the Iraqi resistance caused trouble for the Americans in the region by targeting their bases in the early stages and forced them to retreat from their positions, especially regarding Israel’s plan to start a ground attack on Gaza.
In addition to the departure of the American ambassador and this country's key staff from Iraq, the resistance attacks also forced the American occupation forces to withdraw two-thirds of their military and “civilian” personnel from Iraq in the span of one week,
Only one week after the start of the operation against the American invaders, the Iraqi resistance proved that it was able to fight this occupation in all of West Asia with the highest readiness, I repeat; in all the of the region of West Asia. This is a decision, not a slogan, now it is the time of resistance and nothing else.
The Iraqi resistance is the main pillar in the battle for the unity of the fronts and the axis of the resistance, and it is ready to defend the oppressed nation of Palestine and its people, the same land that is occupied by the US through its agent in the region which is Israel.
The threatening messages that the Americans sent to the resistance through intermediaries from inside and outside did not scare the resistance, and we have already said that as long as the occupation exists they will not feel any peace or safety.
The resistance in Iraq confirms that it has entered a new stage and will not necessarily be related to the events in the region, and the decision to eradicate the occupation from our land and region is our legitimate right to restore security. The security and reclaiming of what this occupation stole from the property and wealth of Iraq, this decision is decisive and there is no return from it.
As long as the American occupiers insist on staying in their declared and “undeclared” bases in Iraq and the region, West Asia will not be pacified and will not be secure nor stable. If the US still insists on staying in the region, we will say to it: you have to pay the price…
