NOURNEWS- The following text is a short review of Iranian high officials' stance regarding the Palestinian crisis on 26 October:

-- Iran's Supreme Leader: US Definitely Complicit in Israeli Crimes against Gaza

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei emphasized that the US is a definite accomplice in the crimes committed by the Zionist regime in Gaza.

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei made the remarks on Wednesday in the meeting with members of the Congress in Commemoration of the Martyrs of Lorestan Province.

“The presence of the heads of oppressive and villain status in the occupied territories shows their concern about the disintegration of the Zionist regime,” The Leader added, referring to Western leaders' recent trips

Stressing that Victory is definitely for Palestine,  Ayatollah Khamenei Islamic states should not be passive in the face of criminals.

Ayatollah Khamenei also said that Gaza is now “the scene of innocence on one hand and strength on the other hand.”

He described as “decisive” and “irreparable” the blow dealt to the usurping entity by Palestinian fighters in their October 7 raid, dubbed Operation Al-Aqsa Storm.

“Yes, the people of Gaza are really oppressed, and this ruthless and bloodthirsty enemy, the usurping terrorist regime, knows no boundaries to crimes. It kills a thousand people in one bombardment,” the Leader asserted.

He added, “In this case, the United States is a definite accomplice of the criminals. That is, the US hands have been polluted up to the arms with the blood of the oppressed, the children, the patients, the women, etc. In fact, [the US] is somehow managing the crimes being committed in Gaza.”

-- Iran's FM letter to UN High Commissioner

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian in a letter to UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk called for holding to account Zionist regime war criminals for the ongoing Gaza onslaught.

Amir-Abdollahian in his letter on Wednesday to the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights condemned the gross and systematic violation of the human rights of the Palestinian people by the Zionist regime and emphasized that he expects the UN official and other human rights mechanisms of the United Nations to immediately stop the attacks of the Israeli regime and punish the rulers of the regime and hold them to account for committing crimes against humanity and war crimes.

"The statements by the authorities of the Israeli regime together with the widespread and systematic attacks of the Zionist regime military in the Gaza Strip show that this is a campaign for the genocide of the Palestinian people," the Iranian foreign minister added.

"The forced displacement of the Palestinian people by the Israeli regime and the entry of this regime's forces into Gaza for 'ethnic cleansing' is in blatant violation of international law. Palestinians are not safe anywhere in Gaza, because the Israeli regime has imposed a 'total siege' on this small area and has illegally cut off water, food, fuel, and electricity," he further added.

He criticized the inaction on the part of the international community against the Zionist regime crimes as a catalyst for the Zionist war criminals to intensify their campaign, calling for serious action to hold the regime's ruler accountable.

-- Ayatollah Raisi: Western support for Zionist crimes unmasked their racist face

The Iranian president made the remarks in a meeting in Tehran on Wednesday with Foreign Minister of Niger Bakary Yaou Sangare.

President Raisi hailed the independence-seeking of the people of Niger and their resistance to hegemonic policies of the European contries which he said is indicative of Africa’s transfer from colonialism.

He also voiced Iran's readiness to cooperate with Niger in different economic areas.

The foreign minister of Niger, for his part, said that his visit to Iran aims to further broaden friendships and give a boost to cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
