NOURNEWS- The full text of Dr. Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran’s speech at the extraordinary meeting of the Executive Committee of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Jeddah:

Mr. President,
Dear colleagues,
Brothers and sisters,
Firstly, I would like to thank the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for holding an emergency meeting of the Executive Committee of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. I would like to thank Mr. Hissein Brahim Taha, the Secretary General of OIC, and his colleagues for organizing this important meeting.
Undoubtedly, today, the issue of Palestine has become the axis of the unity of the Islamic world and the concept of the ideal of defending the cultural and civilizational identity of the first Qibla of Muslims in the world against the repeated aggression of the occupying Zionist regime. Unfortunately, the Zionist regime, with the full support of the United States of America and some other Western governments, has committed war crimes, crimes against humanity, ethnic cleansing, racial discrimination, and the crime of genocide against the oppressed Palestinian people. The US is responsible for these crimes.
The action of Israel's child-killing regime in bombing a hospital in Gaza last night and killing about 1,000 civilians, patients, and medical staff is not compatible with any logic, truly, who believes that the resistance forces in Gaza used such an advanced bomb?
Today, in all the embassies of the Islamic Republic of Iran abroad, the Iranian flag is at half-mast as a sign of solidarity and respect for the recent martyrs of Palestine, and Iran has declared today a day of public mourning.
Dear colleagues,
Implementation of the continuous policy of usurping Palestinian lands, the continuation of settlement construction, mass killings, destruction of Palestinian people's houses and farms, arresting and torturing men and women and even children, controlling and cutting off electricity and water sources in Palestine, and desecrating the Al-Aqsa Mosque, are only part of the crimes and inhumane actions of the regime occupying Jerusalem. They even insult the religious ceremonies of Christians.
Dear Ministers,
The foundation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation was and is based on the cause of Palestine, and Palestine and Holy Quds must remain the first issue of the Islamic world. There is no doubt that the Al-Aqsa storm operation proved that the cause of Palestine is still alive. Undoubtedly, after the Al-Aqsa storm operation, Palestine will be different from Palestine before the said operation. The future belongs to women, men, and children of Palestine.
Mr. President,
In line with practical and effective action to support the Palestinian nation, the proposals of the Islamic Republic of Iran are as follows:
1- Coordinated efforts of Islamic countries to immediately stop the war crimes and mass killing of civilians, especially women and children, in the Gaza Strip by the Zionist regime.
2-The action of Islamic countries to open the needed routes for sending humanitarian aid to the people under the siege of Gaza, especially medical and health aid, food, drinking water, and fuel.
3- The necessity of political and economic embargo on the Zionist regime by Islamic countries.
4- Establishing a war crime court for Zionist regime warmongers, pilots, army commanders, and political officials should be on the agenda of the member states of OIC.
5- Submitting the request of the member states to the United Nations Security Council in order to implement the provisions of the approved resolutions in support of the Palestinian nation's right to self-determination of their fate and condemnation of settlements in the occupied territories.
6- Activation of the ambassadors of the member countries of the organization in Geneva to pursue the international law and persecution of the crimes of the Zionist regime in accordance with international institutions, especially the Human Rights Council and their laws.
7- Action of the organization's secretariat to create an archive of documentation of war crimes and violations of human rights and international humanitarian law by the Zionist regime against the Palestinian people in order to be used in future proceedings in international courts.
8- Sending a delegation from Islamic countries to Gaza to investigate the humanitarian situation and the war crimes and genocide of the Zionist regime in Gaza.
9- Forming a legal group of jurists of the Islamic world to provide legal support to the Palestinian people and to prosecute Israeli perpetrators, commanders, and war criminals including soldiers, politicians, and pilots who are responsible for the killing of Palestinian civilians.
10- Iran strongly condemns any forced displacement of the residents of Gaza and considers this another war crime by the Zionist regime and this crime against humanity must be stopped immediately.
11- Now the time has come for the Islamic countries to sever their relations with the Zionist apartheid regime and to embargo the products produced by this criminal regime as a practical protest against the war crimes of the Zionist apartheid regime.
12- Religious figures and Christian centers, especially the Vatican, are expected to take effective measures to immediately stop the war crimes in Gaza and the attack on Christian and Islamic holy places in Al-Aqsa Mosque and Palestine.
