NOURNEWS- Dr. Amir-Abdollahian, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, met and discussed with Mr. Fuad Hussein, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iraq, on the sidelines of the extraordinary meeting of the Executive Committee of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Jeddah.
In this meeting, Dr. Amir-Abdollahian described the situation of the Palestinian people and citizens in Gaza as very dangerous and painful in the shadow of the war crimes and genocide of the Zionist regime and emphasized the need for collective and urgent efforts of Islamic countries to stop the killing machine of the Zionist apartheid regime.
Iran's FM added that instead of confronting the resistance forces, in order to compensate for its failure in the military field, the Zionist regime has made Palestinian citizens the target of its war crimes and genocide-oriented policies.
Dr. Amir-Abdollahian evaluated the visit of the US Secretary of State and the President of the country to Tel Aviv in the current situation as an attempt to revive the Zionist regime from political, military, security, psychological, and social collapse and added that, in this regard, the American government calls everyone to exercise restraint, but it has left the hand of the Zionist regime open in carrying out the genocide against the people of Palestine.
Iranian FM added that if these war crimes are not stopped, the region will be out of control.
In this meeting, the Iraqi Foreign Minister stated that the aim of the Zionist regime's current attacks is to destroy Gaza and lay the groundwork for the displacement of Palestinians from Gaza. He added that it is necessary to use all necessary capacities to stop the attacks of the Israeli regime against Gaza, send humanitarian aid and lift the imposed siege on Gaza.
