NOURNEWS- While saying that Hamas does not represent all Palestinians and that Israel must respond to Hamas, The President of the US, who is scheduled to leave for the occupied territories tomorrow, in an interview with CBS which was published on Sunday, said: But Israel's occupation of Gaza will be a great mistake.
“Joe Biden” also added that he is sure that Israel is acting within the framework of the laws of war and that there will be a way for the people of Gaza to have access to medicine, water, and food.
Meanwhile; On Monday, The Jerusalem Post, citing unnamed sources, stated that the reason for the delay in Israel's ground attack on Gaza was the fear of Lebanon's Hezbollah attack and wrote: Lebanon's Hezbollah is waiting for the moment when most of the Israeli army's ground forces are engaged in Gaza, so that a new front will be launched against them.
The Jerusalem Post also wrote: Although this issue does not prevent the Israeli army from attacking Gaza, rushing into an unprepared operation just to satisfy the thirst of public opinion for retaliation could be a big mistake.
Although after the disgraceful failure of the Zionist regime in the Al-Aqsa storm operation, the only strategy of this regime was blind and out-of-control bombings with the aim of taking high casualties from the people of Gaza, but, since Wednesday, Tel Aviv has made their plan to enter Gaza by land public, a plan that despite the announcement of a deadline for the Palestinians has not yet been implemented.
With the green light of the US and its minister of state of the Biden government, Antony Blinken, Netanyahu's government first tried to prepare the ground for this action by relying on the keyword “razing Gaza to the ground” and trying to smooth the migration of Gazans to the neighboring Arab countries.
After the necessary warnings from Hamas and Hezbollah of Lebanon in this regard and the non-acceptance of the issue of immigrants by the Arab countries, the Zionists took a step back and demanded the migration of the people from the north of Gaza to the south of Gaza, and then with estimates that there would be a definite failure if they entered Gaza by land, finally they postponed this matter under the pretext of unfavorable weather conditions.
In the meantime; By playing the role of a “good cop” and expressing two-sided positions, Blinken tried to present the US as the main factor in canceling the ground attack on Gaza and calling for a reduction in tension.
This was while all Western military experts pointed out the illogicality and disaster of Israel's ground attack on Gaza and warned Netanyahu's nervous cabinet against carrying it out.
But Biden's interview with CBS shows that apparently the “good cop” of the matter, due to the clarification of the dimensions of Israel's ground attack on Gaza, got out of the “gesture and hint” mode and clearly spoke about this matter and ultimately, called it a mistake.
