NOURNEWS- Every five minutes a child, woman, or civilian is killed in Gaza; However, the EU has chosen to stand by the executioner named the Zionist regime by turning a blind eye to the killing machine that was launched by this usurper regime in the past ten days ago.
In a statement signed on Sunday by the 27 member countries of this union, Hamas' defense measures were condemned and the prisoners, or in the European terms, hostages, were demanded to be released as soon as possible and of course without any set conditions.
After giving the green light to Tel Aviv to continue its attacks, the EU has claimed that it is ready to help civilians in Gaza.
In another part of its statement, this union, emphasizing that “a stable and durable peace based on a two-state solution should be achieved by strengthening efforts in the Middle East peace process”, calls for continued interaction with “legitimate Palestinian authorities” and their international partners in the region.
Although the names of the 27 member states of the EU can be seen at the foot of this statement, international observers believe that line by line of this official letter are the policies dictated by the US in support of the Zionist regime which it supports.
Experts believe that these influence-oriented actions will not end just in an official position or a statement on paper, and it will not be long before the EU has to pay part of the factor of the military conflict in Gaza in the form of material aid or weapons from the pockets of its citizens, just like what happened in Ukraine and Russia and their war.
Based on this background, it can be predicted that Europe following America’s command in supporting Israel's crimes in the occupied territories, especially the killing of women and children in Gaza, could have serious political, economic and security consequences for these countries.
Now the question is here; Do the European countries, which are struggling in the swamp created by the US in the Ukraine war, have the ability and tolerance to have an indirect and costly presence in a front that is far more complicated and riskier than the Ukraine war?
It is not understandable why Europe, which surrendered its political independence and economic capacities to the US during the Ukraine war and therefore faced serious social and economic crises and practically became a hostage of the US, is now seeking to once again follow the US and the Zionist regime in the Palestinian crisis.
The recent stance taken by Europe has happened while, while despite the opposition and obstruction of the governments, European Muslim citizens came to the streets in an unprecedented manner to condemn Israel's criminal actions in killing the people of Gaza and declared their hatred and disgust for the Zionist regime and its supporters.
Undoubtedly, popular protests like this should be considered as a serious warning to European countries so that the leaders of these countries realize that continuing to support the “losing horse” and entering the dangerous games designed by Washington can be a new complementary factor to increase the political, economic and social pressures on them and double the challenges caused by the involvement of these countries in the war in Ukraine.
