NOURNEWS- The soldiers of the Zionist regime have a famous saying: “Gaza is a bad land, but the underground of Gaza is much worse!”, the reason behind this proverb is that no one knows what is going on in the mysterious depths of this seemingly small area and in the spiral tunnels that it is not known how far it goes.
On the geography map, Gaza is a narrow strip on the edge of the Mediterranean Sea, 41 km long and between 6 and 12 km wide, which borders Egypt from the south, and its northern and eastern areas are also occupied by the Zionist regime, but in reality, Gaza is the most important to story land in the world, because a network of corridors, like a root, has kept this strand alive on the map of geography.
These underpasses, which in the last one or two decades have been referred to as the “most vital tool in the Hamas arsenal” and of course the biggest nightmare of the occupying regime in Tel Aviv, have led the strategists of the Zionist regime to believe that; Hamas's biggest weapon in Gaza is Gaza itself. But not a city that is on the ground and is constantly being bombed and getting hit by rockets, but an underground city that few people have accurate and reliable information about from the beginning and the end.
Whatever has happened so far, the “width” of the tunnels, like the body's immune system, has preserved the “strip” of Gaza, and now that the Zionist regime has begun whispering about starting a ground attack on this area, military and political experts attribute this fact to “Tel Aviv being confused and nervous. They have pointed out that leaving Gaza will definitely not be as easy as entering it.”
In this regard, “Bloomberg” wrote in its recent report that although Hamas does not have the “technological sophistication of the Israeli army”, a wide network of secret and underground corridors is one of the strange military assets of this group.
With this introduction, Bloomberg emphasized that, as in the past, it will not be easy to target the maze of an underground, because no one but Hamas knows the full extent of this nested tunnel.
“BBC” also stated in a report, quoting an expert of underground battles and a university lecturer in the occupied areas; The crossings built under Gaza, unlike classic and military examples, are not disposable and have been electrified, modernized and equipped with ventilation systems over time.
According to media reports, this underground network has been expanded since 2007, while before that, there were only 2,500 tunnels under the border area of Gaza with Egypt.
Since 2014, meaning, about 9 years ago when the Zionist regime, understanding that what it is breathing under the skin of Gaza is like a living creature, made a huge investment worth one billion dollars to build a 60-kilometer underground barrier on the edge of Gaza, and another hundreds of million dollars was spent on detection systems and radars and trackers to build what it thought was an “Iron Wall” against secret passages under Gaza.
Just two weeks ago, Hamas crossed this retaining wall equipped with the most sophisticated tunnel detection tools with the “Al-Aqsa Storm” operation and killed at least 1,500 Israelis.
The occupiers of Jerusalem referred to this invisible labyrinth network as “Gaza Metro” in order to minimize what was built under Gaza, but Hamas responded at the same time and announced that it has a 500 km long network, only 5% of which has been hit.
For understanding what Hamas said, it is enough to make a simple comparison; Tehran province, with an area of 13 thousand square kilometers and a population of at least 13 million, has about 250 kilometers of metro, which transports 2 million and 500 thousand people daily. Kilometers of these tunnels located under Gaza are twice the number of Tehran subway lines, there are corridors and underpasses, which are estimated to be several tens of meters underground.
Accordingly; After the Zionist regime raised the possibility of a ground attack on Gaza, the media affiliated with Tel Aviv's allies warned that this tunnel network will neutralize the supposed superiority of the Zionist regime's army in the field of technology and information and by doubling the complications of street war, it will pose a deadly threat to the soldiers.
Even if the mine sweeping bombs destroy a part of these passageways, the movement to conquer these tunnels is not possible except by entering it, and entering a corridor that may have been bombed, or may its oxygen supply be cut off or water be flown into it and so many other strategic hypothetical situations is like trying to enter and swim into an unknown swamp!
According to these media outlets, no one can fight against something that they do not know what it is and cannot see, because the knowledge of the Zionist regime about these secret ways is limited only to the passages that it has discovered.
The complete ignorance of the intelligence-security system and of course the military of Tel Aviv and its allies in the recent operations of Hamas showed that these warnings are not unfounded.
Although the Zionist regime probably hopes to win out of this gamble by relying on new and smart American weapons, its successive surprises after equipping the “Iron Dome” and repairing the “Iron Wall” and the illusion of destroying the Hamas underground network proved that there are a lot of mistakes in Tel Aviv’s estimations.
Now, although according to the general analysts, the “Zionists' ground attack on Gaza” plan is a nervous and vindictive reaction and of course inevitable, but maybe it is a part of the masterful design and game of a chess player named “Mohammed Deif”, the smart commander of Hamas, who with the “Al-Aqsa Storm” checked the opponent, and now he is waiting to checkmate its enemy immediately after its next move!
