NOURNEWS- Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the foreign minister of Iran, has left Tehran for Baghdad at noon this Thursday (October 12) he will discuss bilateral issues between Iran and Iraq as well as regional issues during his visit to Iraq.
During this trip, Amir-Abdollahian will meet and hold talks with his Iraqi counterpart Fuad Hossein, and other officials of this country.
After these talks, Iran's FM will leave Baghdad for Beirut.
It seems that according to the developments in the region and the crimes of the Zionist regime, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran has other trips to Islamic countries ahead of him.
It should be noted that in recent days, Amir-Abdollahian has held intensive discussions with his counterparts in the region regarding the crimes committed by the Zionist regime against the people of Gaza, aid to the Palestinian people, the holding of an extraordinary meeting of the foreign ministers of the member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and Iran's preparation for holding this meeting were the main subject of his discussions.
Five days ago, Amir-Abdollahian discussed and exchanged his opinions with his Iraqi counterpart, Fuad Hossein, over the phone regarding bilateral relations and current developments in the Palestinian region.
In this conversation, the parties emphasized the need for coordination and coherence of Islamic countries in supporting the oppressed Palestinian nation and requested the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to hold an emergency meeting of this organization to review the current developments in Palestine and support the Palestinian nation and Al-Aqsa Mosque against the aggressive actions of the Zionist regime.
In this conversation, Amir-Abdollahian called for coordinated and effective actions by Islamic countries to help Palestine and stop the aggressive attacks of the Zionist regime against women and children in Gaza and the West Bank.
