NOURNEWS- Israeli media reported hours before Benjamin Netanyahu and Benny Gantz agreed to form an emergency cabinet.
It seems that pressure on Netanyahu from domestic political groups and currents, as well as Western allies of the Zionist regime, has finally led him to seek reconstruction within his cabinet structure.
Netanyahu is accused of being the main culprit for the current chaotic situation in Israel by allying with religious extremists and giving them free rein over everything in order to return to power and maintain his position as the Prime minister of Israel. He, who has always considered his political salvation as preferable to the existence of the Zionist regime and its salvation, now wants to save himself from the consequences of the situation by distancing himself from the extremists.
The similarity between the events of the past few days and the “Al-Aqsa Storm” operation with the developments of the 33-day war in 2006, which forced the Zionist regime to form an independent fact-finding committee known as Winograd after the heavy and historic defeat against the Lebanese Hezbollah, to remove the culprits of that defeat from Israel's political and military arena, to restore its image, is relatable to Netanyahu’s case in the current situation.
In that year, the conclusion of the Winograd Committee led to the blaming of the then Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, the then Minister of War Amir Peretz, and the then Chief of the General Staff of the Zionist Army Dan Halutz and their removal from the political and military arena of Israel.
