NOURNEWS- Stating that the West's concern about the Islamic Revolution was the formation of a rival civilization, Iranian President pointed out their efforts to create Islamophobia and Iranophobia as a result of this concern and said, "Today, what the West was worried about has taken shape and Muslims want to live by relying on Islam and expect Islamic thinkers to think of solutions for the problems of life facing them".
Speaking in the opening ceremony of the 5th Mustafa International Award held at the Isfahan International Conference Center during his trip to Isfahan province, President Ebrahim Raisi congratulated the birthday of the Prophet of Mercy (PBUH), Imam Sadiq (PBUH) and the Unity Week, stating that this conference was organized with the name of Mustafa (PBUH) and to honor the authority of science and knowledge, saying, "The highest level of science considered by the Prophet of Mercy is beneficial science, which is for the happiness and salvation of human beings and to untie the knot from People's lives".
President Raisi added, "What is being taught and read today in our universities and fields about God's word and deed, if both are in harmony, in the light of monotheism, they will bring progress and happiness to mankind".
By stating that useless science aimed at gaining power, wealth, colonization and exploitation will not only not lead to the salvation of human beings, but will also lead to the destruction of humanity, the President clarified, "The science of some scientists, instead of benefiting humanity, is aimed at the destruction of human beings".
President Raisi stated that with the beginning of the mission of the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH), Islamic civilization was formed, which created a great leap in the world and this civilization became more and more prominent in the following centuries.
The President further stated that the roots of many of today's Western sciences, techniques and technologies are in Islamic civilization and added, "Islamic civilization seeks to bring humanity to prosperity in the fields of justice, ethics and spirituality as the cornerstone of society".
Continuing his speech, President Raisi recognized the difference between the Mustafa Award event and other similar ceremonies in its view of science, and said, "The Mustafa Award is awarded to science and knowledge that has the two wings of science and faith, a science that has authenticity and seeks to create happiness and welfare of humanity and the new Islamic civilization".
The President stated that the Mustafa Award can attract our young people to follow the scientific path based on this approach and view, and added, "The Mostafa Scientific Award has a great mission, and therefore it should be recognized as a creative movement and efforts should be made to develop it".
President Raisi described and clarified the scientific view of the Mostafa Award in the service of man, human life and happiness, saying, "Unlike the humanist view, this divine view of science is in the service of mankind and the fulfillment of the goals of creation".

President Raisi pointed out that the Islamic world today has cultivated personalities like the late Kazemi Ashtiani who have shone in the field of science, knowledge and innovation, and noted, "Today, in the name and with the support of the Islamic Republic, scientific and technological communications have been formed and scientists following the view of beneficial science have established a power in the Islamic world that seeks to save contemporary man".
Emphasizing that what the West was afraid of has taken shape today, the President said, "Today the awakening of the Islamic nations has taken place and the view of the Muslim people in all corners of the world is that they can manage their lives well by relying on Islam".
Referring to the efforts of the West to propagate the belief that one cannot progress by relying on religion, President Raisi considered the proof of this approach in Islamic Iran and many other Islamic countries to be neutralizing the efforts of the Westerners and noted, "We deeply believe that, as in the past, the honors of the scientific and technological fields is on the shoulders of Muslim figures".
President Raisi pointed out that today, thanks to the blood of martyrs, Muslims want to live as Muslims, and added, "Today, Muslims have regained their Islamic identity, and the requirement of this identity is that their lives be Islamic".
