Is America headed towards a civil war?

If Trump makes it to the final round of the election and the Supreme Court of the US does not issue a ruling banning his participation in the 2024 election contest for becoming the president of the country, he will definitely consider himself the winner of the election by nature, and basically, this means he will not accept another defeat against Biden (in contrast to what happened in 2020).

NOURNEWS- These days, Trump has become the most controversial face of the 2024 presidential election in the United States of America.

Public and state polls indicate his lead among the Republican Party candidates, and he also has a good position in field researches conducted in the US in winning against Biden.

However, Trump's trial for attempted fraud in the 2020 presidential election, as well as his responsibility for the Proud Boys attack on Capitol Hill that led to their takeover of Congress, is still ongoing, and evidence points to Trump’s conviction in the said case.

Trump intends to guarantee his victory in this competition in various ways, and in the meantime, he basically does not care about state votes, especially in states where he has lost or will lose the competition to his rival.

He has repeatedly emphasized that the US presidential election was the most fraudulent election in history, and he does not necessarily mean that the Democrats cheated in the election.

On the other hand, the Democrats are of the opinion that by maneuvering the keyword of election fraud, Trump intends to prepare the ground for challenging the results of the mail-in elections and ultimately their annulment, so that only then can Trump be re-elected, and once again, become the president of the US.

In the meantime; Some supporters of Trump and the Republican Party believe that the absence of the former US president in the 2024 presidential election due to the conviction in new cases will create lasting crises for the White House.

In one of these cases, Sarah Palin, the former governor of Alaska and former vice-presidential candidate from the Republican Party, says: “If the state and federal authorities continue to prosecute Donald Trump, the second American Civil War will occur.”

She stated these remarks when Trump turned himself in to the Fulton County Jail in Georgia and a historic photo of him was released.

This was the first time that such a photo was taken of Trump, and he was released from prison minutes after entering this detention center according to the agreement for a bail of 200,000 dollars and an on the condition that he will not act to intimidate or threaten witnesses, after agreeing to these terms, Trumps was released.

These statements by Palin show that some figures of the Republican Party have also prepared themselves to support Trump and even the rebellion of his supporters if he is banned from participating in the 2024 presidential election.

Trump is facing 13 charges related to trying to change the result of his defeat in the 2020 election in the state of Georgia, and 18 of his allies, including Rudy Giuliani, the former mayor of New York and Trump's former lawyer, have also been charged in connection to this case.

The set of these developments, which have caused many concerns within the American society, show the creation of deep gaps in the structure of politics and government in the US, and as some American officials and experts have also indicated that it has increased the capacity for civil war in the country.
