NOURNEWS- The agreement made in Beijing between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Saudi Arabia for the development of relations has had a positive trend in various political, scientific, economic and sports dimensions in recent months, and the parties have shown their determination for achieving this goal at highest levels.
This great development, which has entered a new stage with the official presence of the ambassadors of the parties in the capitals, has had many effects on the ongoing regional and extra-regional developments due to the great capacities of the two countries, and its effects are still emerging.
Iran and Saudi Arabia, as two important and influential pillars in the West Asia, can definitely be a common platform for positive developments in regional convergence for resolving crises and challenges that are rooted in the movements and interventions of foreign countries in the region.
One of the issues mentioned by experts and political, economic and media activists in recent months regarding the effects of Iran-Saudi relations on regional developments is the impact of these relations on Lebanon, as announced by the Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs; The agreement between Iran and Saudi Arabia will have a positive effect on the entire regional relations.
Lebanon, which has the power of resistance front, while liberating the occupied territories in the south and defeating the Zionist army, has registered its name among the history makers of the region, in recent years, due to reasons such as the interference of external actors and internal disputes, Lebanon is facing the most severe economic and political crises.
Observers believe that the Tehran-Riyadh agreement can help to reduce past tensions and achieve political and economic stability in Lebanon, and by encouraging foreign investments, this agreement can play a role in helping to save Lebanon from its continuous deterioration.
On the other hand; The significant capacities of the two countries among the political currents of Lebanon can reduce the differences between these movements and accelerate the process of electing the president.
The Islamic Republic of Iran has always emphasized on the process of discourse in the region to help solve crises and disturbances, because Iran considers the root of many challenges to be foreign interventions and misunderstandings that can be resolved through regional dialogues and bringing perspectives closer together, especially that the axis Western-Zionists have always used tension in the region as a means for achieving their goals.
Iran foreign minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian’s five trips to Lebanon and consultations with the country's officials from different political and ethnic currents, emphasizing Tehran's determination and readiness to help solve Lebanon's economic problems, including in the field of fuel, as well as the transfer of technical and engineering knowledge in many fields, are an evident testimony to this claim.
As Iran’s FM emphasized in Beirut, Tehran has no intention of interfering in the internal affairs of Lebanon and tries to bring this view closer to the Saudi side, to achieve the political and economic stability of Lebanon through constructive interaction centered on the convergence of internal flows and based on paying attention to the principle of independence and strengthening the internal capacities of this country and region, Lebanon's track record shows that the internal differences and the lack of a comprehensive discourse with a national perspective, along with the prescriptions imposed by the Westerners, actually has further deepened the divide and existing challenges and has put this country in its current state.
It is obvious that the background of any positive development in Lebanon is the convergence and dialogue between the Lebanese different movements, and the capacities of Tehran-Riyadh can play an effective role in accelerating this process.
It is important that; Contrary to the interventionist practice of the westerners, who consider their profit as a priority and seek to achieve it by intensifying ethnic-religious tensions, Iran has emphasized on the necessity of the right of nations to determine their destiny and the realization of the will of the internal movements and goals of the countries, relying on the principle of discourse, and Iran has always been prepared to do so, in accordance Tehran has announced to help these processes in the form of a consultative role.
The concrete manifestation of this strategic policy can be seen in the holding of meetings of Syrian political currents in Iran and helping to bring closer the views of Iraqis at different times and improving the convergence of Afghan currents.
Now, in the same framework, while solving the Syrian refugee crisis in Lebanon from the point of view of reducing Beirut's costs requires improving and stabilizing stability in Lebanon which it can be one of the subjects of consultations between Iran and Saudi Arabia to solve the challenges of the region, Tehran is emphasizing that it is necessary to exchange views with the countries of the region, including Saudi Arabia, for greater synergy to help meet Lebanon's needs.
In this regard, it should be noted that; Contrary to the claims of the media and western authorities, the role of Iran and Saudi Arabia in solving regional problems, including Lebanon, is not due to the Shiite and Sunni problem or any other religious oriented tensions, but can be defined in the framework of new regional and global equations, which consider regional convergence as the most important principle in solving problems arising from crisis-causing interventions of foreign countries.
