NOURNEWS- On August 16 of this year, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution said in a meeting with the commanders of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps: "We are going through a rough season. We have crossed this uphill, this steep slope, we are nearing its peaks. We should not get tired." Grand Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized on the key concepts of his recent speech in his separate speeches; As eleven years ago, in the speech on June 3, 2012, in the holy shrine of the founder of the Islamic Republic, he said: "It is forbidden to stop on the way of ongoing progress; Self-Admiration is prohibited; Negligence is prohibited; Aristocracy is prohibited; It is forbidden to seek pleasure; It is forbidden for the officials to think of collecting the ornaments of the world. It is with these prohibitions that we can reach the top. We are moving through the domain. We haven't reached the top yet; We are far from it. The day the nation of Iran reaches the top, hostilities will end. The day when the Iranian nation reaches the top, the malicious conflicts will end. We are far from that day. We must continue the movement without stopping."
The Supreme Leader of the Revolution's emphasis on symbolic keywords such as "peak", "domain" and "in-lined and targeted movement" in a 12-year period, in addition to defining the strategic axes of the country, it will not be possible to understand the depth and meaning of the mentioned concepts without finding an answer to them. Questions such as what are the characteristics of the peak mentioned by the Supreme Leader? How far is the country from the peak? What are the characteristics of the domain in which we are located, and perhaps the most important question is the reason for the end of current hostilities when we reach the top?
In the part, we will examine and find the answer to this question, which is; why is "the peak" the only safe and fortified place for the progress of Iran and why it will end the hostilities?
We will start to answer this question by examining one of the memoirs of Admiral Ali Shamkhani, the former secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the country; When the 5+1 representatives in Vienna and Geneva held intensive talks regarding Iran’s nuclear program, Boris Johnson, the Britain’s foreign minister at the time, and Catherine Ashton, the European Union foreign policy official at the time, came to Tehran. In his meeting with the European envoys, Admiral Shamkhani clearly reminded the West that "negotiation is the only option available before you in the current situation; Because you have tried all the possible paths and did not get the needed results. On this basis, you cannot set a condition in the negotiations because you have no other way to reach an agreement other than negotiations."
The basis of these statements was the acquisition of knowledge of nuclear progress, the development of peaceful nuclear activities, the design and construction of new generation centrifuges, the increase of enriched uranium reserves and the production of uranium with 20% enrichment. Iran had reached a point in its path of nuclear progress where stopping it was neither possible nor meaningful; Like a runner who has already crossed the finish line, so nothing else will affect the result achieved by the runners.
The forty-five-year-long history of the Islamic Republic of Iran, as well as the clear historical examples of other countries, confirm the fact that hostilities, disruptions, obstructions, pressure and all semi-legal tricks and illegal actions are designed to stop the movement, divert the course or move away from country’s goals; Therefore, reaching the aforementioned top, which is synonymous with the highest level of power and capability, is the only way to end self-destructive actions. As all "ceasefires" and stable "reconciliations" are concluded at the exact moment when the hostile side reaches the conclusion that the application of force and pressure, both hardware and military, economic and so on, will not achieve the desired goal, and it is useless to spend any material, weapons because this approach will only waste your time and resources. Moreover, the sacred defense and eight years of popular resistance of our country against the attack of Iraq and its regional partners and global allies caused Saddam to return to Baghdad without any achievements after one of the longest military conflicts of the 20th century and witness the decline of a power that was weak in the war with its neighbor.
The history of world literature has a concrete mythological example to illustrate this fact. Until a few decades ago, "undefeatable", which was a common dream of Iranians, Greeks, Germans, etc. in ancient times, was manifested in "Esfandiyār", "Achilles", "Siegfried" and... It was considered a symbol and manifestation of the wish for immortality and being undying; While today's most prestigious cultures of the world consider a strong body as synonymous with strength and not having a weakness, and in this atmosphere, "Esfandiyār's eye" and "Achilles' heel" are the vulnerable points of these heroes, and their strong and undefeatable body is useless against their weaknesses.
It should be noted that these myths did not have supernatural power, but rather had much fewer weaknesses than others. This historical fact manifests itself in sports, in economy, in international relations and in small and large societies every day. Based on this, the supreme leader of the revolution, with a complete and accurate understanding of power equations in the international system, is aware of this important rule that the method and nature of the dominating system is completely utilitarian and has no religious or ideological nature. "Achieving the result with the lowest cost" is the strategic principle agreed upon by the dominant powers, and based on this, they will never be willing to pay more than the available benefits.
In other words; Westerners have shown in various fields that if they are forced to spend more than they can achieve to reach a goal, they will definitely not do it, and if they are forced to pay a heavy price in the face of a powerful opponent, they prefer to enter into friendship space and end their hostilities.
The peak that the supreme leader of the revolution has repeatedly spoken about the necessity of conquering is the position that the country will soon reach by gaining power in the political, economic, social, military and scientific dimensions, and parallel to the increase in power, country’s weak points will reach the lowest possible level, and in such an environment, the rival powers are forced to end their hostilities to the increase of its costs.
