NOURNEWS- Foreign Minister of Burkina Faso, Olivia Rouamba announced that this African country will dispatch a resident ambassador to Tehran in the near future.
After her meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian in Tehran, Olivia Rouamba said, “In line with strengthening bilateral cooperation, Burkina Faso’s embassy in Tehran will be reopened soon, and a resident ambassador will be dispatched to Iran in the near future”.
She also said, “During the meeting, I expressed Burkina Faso’s readiness to expand bilateral relations with Iran, especially cooperation in educational, commercial, energy, mines, healthcare and treatment fields”.
Olivia Rouamba also announced, “In line with developing bilateral relations, Iranian foreign minister will pay a visit to Burkina Faso in the near future and Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has invited the interim leader of Burkina Faso to travel to Tehran in an appropriate time”.
She highlighted the cooperation opportunities in her country and announced Burkina Faso’s readiness to hold the first meeting of the joint commission for cooperation between the two sides.
