Believe us, Britain is peaceful!

The British media, including the BBC, only describe the overall outlooks of Britain’s strikes and, contrary to their usual and interventionist approach to other countries, they do not say a word about the roots and consequences of recent crises in Britain.

NOURNEWS- The British government, which has been dealing with widespread crises for several years, especially after Brexit and its decision for leaving the EU, has tried its best to make public opinion not to notice and become sensitive to these crises.

The failed management of Rishi Sunak, who took office after the fifty-day prime minister ship of Liz Truss, on the one hand, and London's unbalanced strategies in the field of security and foreign policy, on the other hand, have provoked the public's anger.

This public anger is not being limited to the ongoing street protests against Sunak's government, but also the British population’s anger has led to widespread and unprecedented strikes in Britain.

In recent days, Britain has witnessed a strike of thousands of people in industries such as transportation, which has caused the suspension of the train schedule in most parts of the country.

Trade unions in Britain say; The strikes will continue until a new wage agreement is reached.

Meanwhile, the British Ministry of Transportation reported; The representatives of trade unions have been given various proposals about salaries and wages, which they have not been satisfied with.

Of course, these strikes and protests are not limited to the field of transportation. Workers at a factory in Ayrshire where Brimstone missiles are manufactured and supplied to Ukraine have also gone on strike over their inadequate wages. Of course, the strike of doctors and nurses should also be added to this list.

On the other hand; Britain's National Health Service has announced that strikes in the country are having a significant impact on planning and procedures.

The important and worthy point regarding Britain’s situation is the targeted censorship of the full-scale economic crisis and public protests and strikes in this country.

In the meantime, the British media, including the BBC, only describe the overall outlooks of Britain’s strikes and, contrary to their usual and interventionist approach to other countries, they do not say a word about the roots and consequences of recent crises in Britain.

Many protests in different parts of Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and different cities of Britain are reflected in the media as if nothing happened in this country and Rishi Sunak is managing things with exemplary calmness!

The fact of the matter is that Britain cannot escape its deep-rooted crises, and even the change of government in London (from the conservative party to the Labor Party) cannot lead to a solution for managing this crisis.

While making imports more expensive and fueling much higher inflation in the country, Brexit has created friction in Britain's most important trading relationships and has lowered the value of the pound.

The results of a recent study conducted by the London School of Economics show that Brexit has caused about a third of food price inflation in the UK since 2019, and this increasing trend will continue in the coming years.

Undoubtedly, the deliberate silence of the English media and even some European media regarding the current crisis in Britain reveals the true nature of these media and their alleged lack of independence.

After the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, Britain has been facing high inflation and interest rate increases, which has made the British economy turn into a fragile state.

The final point is; If this crisis is interpreted in as a consequence of Brexit, the situation will be much worse for the claimants of power in London!
