NOURNEWS- According to Kioumars Heydari, the commander of the Iran’s army's ground forces, Iran and Russia will expand and further deepen their military cooperation regarding the fight against terrorism.
According to an interview conducted by the Radio Moscow, Brigadier Kioumars Heydari, Commander of the Ground Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, has pointed out to the constructive results and achievements of his trip at the end of his three-day trip to Moscow. in the said interview, General Heydari emphasized: Iran and Russia are determined to expand and further deepen their cooperation regarding the fight against terrorism.
The commander of the ground forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran pointed to the experiences of Iran and Russia in the field of fighting against terrorism, and then he said: terrorism is a global threat in various shapes and forms, and Iran and Russia are ready to share these valuable experiences with other countries of the world.
He said: The Islamic Republic of Iran has shown its seriousness and determination in the fight against terrorism and Iran will not only continue its cooperation with Russia in this area, but this cooperation will deepen even further than before.
While calling his trip very timely and fruitful, General Heydari said: Tehran and Moscow have reached a good agreement in negotiations and consultations with Lt. Gen. Oleg Salyukov, Commander-in-Chief of the ground forces of the Russia’s armed forces.
The Commander of the Ground Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran pointed to his visit of the Russian Officer University, Military Technology Center, Training Centers, Border Monitoring Equipment Center and the Russian Defense Equipment Production Center and said: "During my visit to Russia's defense capabilities and achievements, I realized that examples of these achievements were already made by the capable hands of Iranian experts in Iran.”
He added: These visits can help the future cooperation of the two countries regarding sharing and exchanging their experiences, military knowledge and exchange of students.
He assessed the establishment of the Islamic Republic of Iran's booth at the Russian International Military Technology Exhibition among other 70 countries as a source of pride for Iran and said: the capabilities of the Islamic Republic of Iran in various fields of ground, sea, aerospace, missile and electronic warfare have surprised visitors and exhibitors.
General Heydari added: The great achievements of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which were presented in this exhibition, were on the cutting edge of technology, all of these capabilities are showcasing Iran’s self-sufficiency and self-reliance.
The Commander of the Ground Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran said: These achievements are in line with the orders and requests of the Leaders of the Revolution and are especially in accordance with orders of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution. The supreme leader has always emphasized on achieving these capabilities, and these achievements have been showcased for the world to see.
