NOURNEWS- Following the publication of the interventionist content of the British ambassador in Tehran, Simon Shercliff, on one of the social networks at the same time as the reporter’ national day, he was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs by the Director General of Western Europe at Wednesday evening.
In this summon, the level of our country's strong protest against the positions outside of customs, manners and diplomatic regulations was communicated to him.
The Director General of Western Europe emphasized: Irresponsible and out of diplomatic norms are clear examples of interference in internal affairs and there for, they are unacceptable.
The Director General of Western Europe also pointed to the destructive actions of some London-based media against the Islamic Republic of Iran under the pretext of freedom of speech and stated: Britain, with its indefensible record towards the Iranian people, is not in a position to comment on the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The Director General of Western Europe noted: This is the Islamic Republic of Iran and we will not allow the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran to be neglected with arbitrary actions.
In response, the British ambassador emphasized his country's will to maintain respectful relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
