NOURNEWS- The annual parade of the Russian Navy was held on Sunday 30 July in St. Petersburg, while in addition to the presence of senior Russian officials, including Vladimir Putin and representatives from 21 other countries, Admiral Shahram Irani, Commander of the Navy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and two Iranian vessels were participating in the parade.
Iran's effective presence in this military exercise should be evaluated in the continuation of the active, pragmatic and result-oriented diplomacy of the Islamic republic of Iran’s 13th government.
Commodore Irani said in regards to Iran's participation in this parade: One of the missions of the navy of all countries, including Iran, is naval and military diplomacy. Today, I participated in this event at the invitation of the Commander of the Russian Navy, because the Iranian Navy is an international force and we will definitely have an active presence in international scenes and we will keep the flag of our country raised in all international scenes.
The realization of the diplomatic goals of each country is generally achieved in accordance with the field components that are driven from the native and endogenous power and authority of the countries, so having defense and military capabilities in all aspects of aerospace, land, sea, drones and defense, plays an important role in this field.
In accordance, considering the geographical location of Iran, the naval force, plays a very important and essential role in the convergence, cooperation and development of diplomatic relations, as such, recently the commander of the navy announced the readiness of Iran's neighbors for forming a naval unit with Iran.
In this regard; Agreements have already been made between the Iranian and Pakistani navies, which can be an effective step in the stable maritime security of the region without foreign interference.
On the other hand; Since Iran and Russia have tried to establish comprehensive bilateral and multilateral relations within the framework of common goals, the development of these political, economic, military and security cooperation will lead the two countries in the path of realizing codified and coordinated plans to neutralize Western sanctions and will strengthen the relations between the sanctioned countries.
In the field of multilateral relations, Iran and Russia in the form of the SCO, Eurasia, BRICS and OPEC+ agreements have been able to establish significant links, the result of which can be the formation of a new global economic order in the face of the unilateralism of the West.
On the other hand; Considering the central role of maritime trade in the framework of the mentioned goals, Iran's initiatives in protecting and safeguarding the environmental security of the Persian Gulf and active presence in global waterways such as the 8 months of global navigation of the 86th Fleet of the Iranian Navy speak of Iran's capabilities and strong will for paving its paths.
