On the other hand; The way of reaction of Western countries in regards of this event, which by creating a gap between the armed forces that are connected to the official army of this country, at least on the surface, showed the formation of a threat against the Russian government, is interesting in its own way.
Today, after Washington’s insistence on the continuation of the war in Ukraine and forcing European countries to go along with this costly approach of the US, almost every fair observer is certain about the "instrumental use of Ukraine and European countries by the US to restrain Russia".
Initially, Wagner's rebellion caused a military challenge for Russia and the psychological weakening of the country's armed forces, which are involved in the war in Ukraine.
But with the publication of the first interviews of Yevgeny Prigozhin, who is known as Putin's chef, and his strong criticism of the Russian military authorities regarding the non-use of nuclear weapons in the Ukraine war, it became clear that even if we accept that Wagner's army can be considered a threat to the Russian government. His possible control over Moscow's nuclear weapons stockpiles will definitely cause an unpredictable disaster for the West and its allies.
Yesterday, the Italian newspaper " LaRepublica" reported the existence of this concern in the Western countries and wrote: With NATO's concern about a nuclear accident, informal contacts were made between this military alliance and the Russian Ministry of Defense regarding the Wagner military rebellion.
This newspaper adds: The West wanted to quickly clarify that its forces had no role in the actions of the rebels.
According to this report; Although apparently Wagner's rebellion against Russia as the president of France mentioned; It is considered to "indicate the existence of gaps within the Russian army", but these gaps cannot necessarily be good news for the Western countries that are engaged in a proxy war with Russia in Ukraine.
Antony Blinken, US Secretary of State said in his latest statement about the recent incident in Russia: "What we saw in Russia was not normal. "We saw gaps that did not exist before."
This statement shows that the occurrence of such an event was unexpected by the US and it had no estimate of its probability.
The formation of this surprise, regardless of its nature, which is still not completely clear, can be a big question mark regarding the origins and goals of this event, which at first glance was considered a threatening event for Moscow.
It is still too early to judge and draw conclusions about the origins of Wagner's private army's 24-hour rebellion against Russia, but given Vladimir Putin’s remarkable skill in using the chess pieces at the right time to disrupt the alignment of his rivals, we can’t rule out the possibility of that, this rebellion will be used to convey a new message from Russia to the Western camp.
