Increasing violence against women in Germany and the silence of the claimants

Many senators and members of the House of Representatives owe their re-election in their states to the support of Zionist lobbies, so opposing AIPAC will be costly for them!

NOURNEWS- "Welt am Sonntag" newspaper, citing the statistics of the Ministry of Interior and criminal investigation offices in 16 German states, reported; In 2022, more than 179,000 victims of domestic violence have been registered by the police across the country.

This statistic shows an increase of 9.3% compared to the previous year. Although before this Covid-19 pandemic was said to be the cause of family violence in Western societies, despite the subsidence of the Corona fever, the number of these violence is still increasing and expresses a severe crisis in the social and cultural structure of Germany.

According to the published report; Two-thirds of the victims of domestic violence in Germany have been women, which is estimated to be higher than the recorded cases due to the fear of the victims going to the police.

According to this report, the states of Saarland (with 19.7%), Thuringia (18.1%) and Baden-Württemberg (13.1%) saw the highest increase in domestic violence cases last year.

According to this statistic, among 16 states, only in the state of Bremen (negative 13.6%) the number of domestic violence has decreased.

The amount of domestic violence in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, which is the most populous state in Germany, has increased by 8.5% in 2022, and the number of cases of physical injuries caused by domestic violence in this state has increased by 26.2% in the last five years.

It is noteworthy that violence against women in Germany has a history, as in 2021, more than 160,000 people were victims of domestic violence in Germany, two-thirds of whom were women.

These statistics contain important points about the state of domestic violence against women in Germany and the type of reactions to it:

First; One of the axes of German foreign policy is relying on human rights issues in other countries, especially in the field of women. During her tenure in this position, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock has appeared as a supporter of women's rights in other countries in her personal and public speeches.

She claims that she will not stop any action, especially sanctions, to support what she calls women's freedom and progress. The objective manifestation of this behavior can be seen in her positions towards Iran's internal developments.

German leaders, however, have either not taken any action to deal with the wave of violence against women in Germany, or remained silent like Ms. Baerbock, or like the German Minister of Family Affairs, " Lisa Paus ", considered this violence to be natural and caused by the Corona virus, which will continue for years to come. also continues.

Of course, " Nancy Fesser ", the Minister of the Interior of Germany, has also requested that the police continuously monitor the attackers who have been evicted from their homes, so that they cannot return home again after a short period of time.

The domestic situation of German women shows that the humanitarian claims of people such as the foreign minister of this country about women are false, and the officials of this country not only do not have the right to speak about women's rights, but they should be held accountable for the crime of ignoring the crisis of violence against women in their country.

Second; Germany is a part of the European Union, and various parts of this Union, such as the European Commission, the Council of Europe, and the human rights institutions of this Union, are obliged to deal with the critical situation of women in this country, while not only no action has been taken, but they have passed by without any reaction.

Now the question is how the EU, which calls itself the center of human rights and, according to Borrell, the head of foreign affairs of the EU, Europe is a vegetable garden where all democratic and humanitarian principles are implemented, how will it cope with the severe violence against women in Germany. It is silent and in return it makes cases and imposes sanctions and threats against other countries.

Of course, this association with perpetrators of violence against women exists in other European countries as well. For example, according to Rape Crisis reports, one in four women in the UK have been sexually assaulted or raped as an adult, but conviction rates remain low.

Third; Western media, including Persian language-based ones whom claim women's rights, did not react to these statistics and ignored it, as if the fate of women in the West is of no importance to these media, and like the capitalism ruling the West, the media also treat women as a commodity that can be bought and sold. They look at fate without importance.
