New economic opportunities for Iran in the shadow of reviving relations with the countries of the region

"Introduction" and "externalism", which are referred to as the two driving engines of "resistance economy", today can be the road map of the countries of West Asia and the shape of this region's new economic order on a regional scale.

NOURNEWS - Exactly 100 days after the renewal of the relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia, which surprised the world, the plane carrying Faisal Bin Farhan, minister of foreign affairs of Saudi Arabia landed at Mehrabad Airport so that the two important and influential countries in the regional equations and the Islamic world enter a new chapter of bilateral relations.

Although Bin Farhan's presence in Iran as the highest official of Saudi Arabia after the aforementioned agreement has significant dimensions, it is necessary to remember that he was the first foreign minister of this country who came to Iran after almost two decades to be a symbol and a manifestation that contrary to The initial impression that is the relations between the two neighboring countries have not returned to the past seven years, but are creating turning points that will change the relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia and the sphere of influence will soon go beyond the political geography of the two countries.

Starting Point

On March 10 and an hour after a week of intensive negotiations between Admiral Ali Shamkhani, the then Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of our country, and Al Aibani, the National Security Adviser of Saudi Arabia, the agreement between Iran and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with the mediation of China was unveiled, political circles and Western media, after the initial surprise, looked with doubt at the real will of the hands that were warmly squeezed in Beijing.

The Western-Hebrew cameras, which were waiting for the fruition of the "Ibrahim Agreement", i.e., the normalization of Arab countries' relations with the Zionist regime and the isolation of Iran, suddenly found themselves faced with an welcoming attitude towards Tehran that messed up their equations.

For this reason, they first called the agreement between Iran and Saudi Arabia a "signature show" and a "cold peace" and tried to downgrade this new agreement to just a timetable for reopening embassies and restoring previous relations.

This proposition was intended to suggest to the audience that: "two powerful regional rivals have at best returned to a time in the past when their relations were suspended and frozen."

But now, three months have passed since that day, the analysts who follow the developments in West Asia see signs of a new order in the heart of the revived relations, in which the two countries are not on the verge of "normalizing" their relations, but on the verge of a new "skeletonization" for West Asia, a region that no longer wants to stay a playground for foreign powers to play their "Games" and tries to create new foundations and links towards stable security by going through military crises and proxy conflicts.

However, there is a significant distance from this agreement and program to those deep and deep-rooted ties, in the circumstances that some countries see the security of West Asia in complete conflict with their interests and cannot sit on the spectator's seat and watch profits and capital go to waste. Watch them for several years.

Also, the expectation that the long-standing confrontations and hostilities of the past will be forgotten overnight by all the levels and layers involved on both sides of the story, is not close to reality, and the parties should be more serious in order not to be governed by Newton's first law, which says: "Objects desire to return to their original state.”

However, there is a road map that has worked since the past and has been able to provide the maximum interests of the parties under the heaviest shadows of misunderstanding and cynicism. This old version is the creation of coherence outside the formal frameworks that have been tested by the most primitive to the largest and most modern societies.

In the primitive societies, a girl would get married with a person from another tribe as a "blood payment" so that a "kinship" would be formed between both tribes so that the war and conflict would end and would not be happening again, today this pattern is in a wider and more progressive form. Between two or more countries, it leads to the conclusion of memorandums under the main contract, treaties that guarantee and support the durability and results of the main contract as an "insurance policy" in written form.

Junction point

It goes without saying that the new understanding between Iran and the Arab countries of the region, which was seriously initiated last winter, is not exempted from the rules governing historical and international treaties, a world where the value of a political and international agreement with the creation of capacity and opportunity in non-political fields It is especially measured economically, because each agreement is a thread that increases the strength of the string and the main agreement and makes it difficult to break it to the same extent.

In simpler terms, today political relations and economic relations between countries are not two parallel lines that go hand in hand in the best cases, but are intertwined together and it predicts and values the consistency and price of a treaty.

For this reason, governments always try to connect their economic organizations and strengthen political affinities with economic connections, in parallel with efforts to revive and create international relations.

Historical experience has shown that the more and stronger these economic connection points are, the more tolerance and understanding countries take in relation to each other in order to maintain and develop their interests.

Turning point

After the Saudi Foreign Minister's trip to Iran, the question was seriously raised whether the political turn in the relations between the two powerful countries of the region will extend to the economic turns. In clearer terms, as the new relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia overshadowed the political atmosphere of West Asia, can trade agreements organize a novel economic order in the region?

The answer to this question requires willpower in the political capitals and decision-making institutions of Iran and Saudi Arabia and subsequently in neighboring and satellite countries.

Fortunately, such understandings can be realized not only within the framework set for the future of the country by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution as the highest policymaking authority in foreign relations, but also the reference of his clear gestures and explicit statements.

In the past years, with the "Resistance Economy" strategy plan, the Supreme Leader has repeatedly introduced the process needed for healing the country's economy in two components, "internalization" and "externalization", which is simply translated as the reorganization of the country's internal forces and capacities to provide national interests and the needs of the surrounding world.

The strategy of the resistance economy should remove the country's financial and monetary benefits from the monopoly of the export of raw and semi-raw materials and be tied to the dollar or any other currency and place "industrial exports" in its commercial and commercial showcase and expose it to the eyes of the selected countries for purchase.

order of adaption

"Introduction" and "externalism", which are referred to as the two driving engines of "resistance economy", today can be the road map of the countries of West Asia and the shape of this region's new economic order on a regional scale.

Since this new platform was implanted for organizing the production process in Iran and for intelligent economic cooperation with the target countries was not programmed in the think tanks of Washington and London, its driving forces were not set from the beginning on the two wings of the imposed order of the capitalist system, i.e., "oil" and "dollar".

For this reason, this strategy can improve bilateral or multilateral trade exchanges in a Geo-economic value network and is reminiscent of the architectural economic order of " Hashim ibn Abd Manaf " the ancestor of the Prophet of Islam in the Arabian Peninsula, an order that was able to save the Quraysh from the pain of hunger and the fear of insecurity. He earned the title of "Hashem" which means "spreader of Bread for the Hungry" and linked the brand of " adaption - Ilaf" to the word of God.

The new system, which can enter the Geo-economic sphere of the Islamic Republic of Iran and its business partners with Iran's initiative, is a set of platforms and systems that aims to replace the imposed Geo-economic equations of capitalism and revive the vision of the golden age of the Silk Road in the eyes of Iranians and its neighbors. It is possible to get past "Oil vs. Food" and reach the new covenant of "Industry vs. Food", an initiative for the prosperity of the tables of people who agree from the Hindu Kush to the Mediterranean and from Eurasia and the Caucasus to the shores of the Red Sea.

This strategy can once and for all put an end to the dominance and weight of extra-regional and imposed economic and political orders that have not provided the interests of any of the West Asian countries, and help to increase the regional security factor.

It goes without saying that the prerequisite for creating such an intelligent order in the region, regardless of the slogans that have been raised during the past years under the progressive strategy of resistance economy, is to understand the necessity and requirements of creating an economic revolution in the country's governing and executive bodies.

Fortunately, a series of events such as the beginning of indirect dialogue with the US and Europe on various issues, especially the cases related to the release of Iran's blocked foreign exchange resources in other countries, the negotiations to lift the imposed sanctions, the normalization of relations with Saudi Arabia, etc., indicate that these requirements are somewhat has been understood.

However, it should be noted that the new order, in addition to the new logic and circuit, also needs new actors and powerful countries who add considerable value outside the scope of statesmen and official governing forces, who unfortunately have not yet been able to create movement in the country's economy based on the resistance economy strategy.

It is clear that the full-fledged and powerful entry of the "private sector" into this field can follow the economic interests of the country in a centralized manner and be a part of its supply chain. And in another place, it should be an invisible seal and an informal but valid guarantee that does not allow the papers to be torn easily.
