The sum of these words with propaganda and extensive media creation, although at first glance it brings the West's support for Ukraine against Russia to mind, and Zelenskyy still tries to highlight it with gestures similar to Hollywood and fictional superheroes, but some key words used in the literature of Western leaders’ hints about a massive wrong address!
In this regard; Olaf Scholz, Chancellor of Germany said in a thought-provoking speech in a television interview; Ukraine will not join the NATO military alliance in the foreseeable future.
Scholz explained in this regard: "NATO took decisions in 2008 during the Bucharest meeting, after which it developed a long-term perspective (for countries' request for membership). It is clear to everyone that [Ukraine joining NATO] is not going to happen in the foreseeable future.”
Mircea Geoană, Deputy Secretary General of NATO, on the sidelines of the Parliamentary Assembly of this alliance in Luxembourg, also admitted that members of NATO do not agree on advancing Ukraine's request to join this military alliance!
Meanwhile; Due to the collapse of Bakhmut and the dominance of the Russian army in this region, the West, by sending more facilities, seeks to maintain the war situation and prevent Kiev from moving towards reconciliation.
To put it more precisely, Olaf Scholz's words express the West's goals and point of view towards Ukraine, in the sense that they see this country as a mere tool against Russia, and a tool should not have a request like becoming a member of NATO.
