Admiral Ali Shamkhani, the representative of the Supreme Leader and the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran, left Tehran for Moscow this morning to participate in the fifth round of the regional security dialogue that will be held in Moscow on Wednesday.
NOURNEWS - Admiral Ali Shamkhani, the representative of the Supreme Leader and the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran, left Tehran for Moscow this morning to participate in the fifth round of the regional security dialogue that will be held in Moscow on Wednesday. In this meeting, that will be held with the presence of secretaries, advisers and representatives of the national security organization of Afghanistan's neighboring countries, the political, economic and security developments of this country will be discussed and investigated. On the sidelines of this meeting, the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran will meet some of his counterparts separately and discuss bilateral, regional and international issues. During this trip, Shamkhani also held another meeting with his Russian counterpart to discuss bilateral issues and follow up projects regarding the economic, technological and commercial cooperation between the two countries. The Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran will also meet and discuss with some other high officials of the Russian Federation. The series of regional security dialogue meetings was established by the initiative of the Islamic Republic of Iran in 2018. The first and second meetings of the regional security dialogue were hosted by the Islamic Republic of Iran in Tehran, and the third and fourth meetings were also hosted by India in New Delhi and Tajikistan in Dushanbe.
