In the meantime, the European countries, that are considered to be the main allies of Ukraine, along with the United States, on the one hand, have suffered enormous financial costs due to their comprehensive arms and financial support from Kyiv, and on the other hand, due to their significant dependence on Russian oil and gas, that its transfer to the green continent is severely limited and they are facing social and political crises inside.
America, despite making promising promises regarding the supply of energy needed by Europe, has seized the opportunity and sells the energy needed by the green continent to these countries at prices up to 4 times the global rate.
Recently, in a report, the American media ABC News called Europe pregnant with political chaos referring to the recent inflation in this continent, this media wrote: "Increasing inflation has become the driving force of popular protests and strikes, that shows the spread of dissatisfaction with the increase in the cost of living in this continent."
During the past weeks, Romania, Germany, England, France, Italy and the Czech Republic have been the scene of widespread public unrest and protests, and now they are facing widespread strikes on the eve of the New Year.
The consequences of European leaders' insistence on continuing to participate in the war in Ukraine will not only lead to the escalation of the existing crisis, but also cause unprecedented economic damage and fragile inflation to European societies, and will also lead to the formation of social and security crises in these countries.
If the process of supplying gas for industrial and domestic use continues at an increasing price that has already crossed the double border or is unexpectedly disrupted, it will increase the risk of internal unrest and instability in European countries.
The leaders of Europe, who previously tried to encourage citizens to accept economic austerity and fulfill their historical responsibility towards Ukraine with the slogans of defending democracy and protecting human rights, now, for the large profits of their American partner during this conflict, not only they do not have answers regarding abusing their citizens, but like the French President Macron, by running forward, became critical of America's behavior in the commercial exploitation of their basic needs, and they do not pay attention to the fact that this criticism is actually a criticism of the memorabilia that politicians like him have written on the weak wall of America.
At the cost of destroying the livelihood of their citizens, while partnering with America in the war in Ukraine, they have replaced cheap Russian gas with expensive and troublesome American gas, and they are caught between the fist of back-breaking costs of war and the anvil of American profiteering and political opportunism.
Attendance of tens of thousands of people in nationwide demonstrations in Germany to protest against the government's policies in dealing with the energy crisis and the economic problems caused by it, the strike of Total company workers in France, that has seriously disrupted the supply of fuel in this country shows that the people in European countries are against the foolish policies of their leaders.
England is also struggling with its most unprecedented crisis in the current situation. The government has asked people to reduce the temperature of water heaters and heating appliances, meanwhile, the price of electricity has doubled.
The situation has worsened so much that the UK Energy Regulatory Office has warned that with the current trend, the bankruptcy of gas pump companies is likely.
Unofficial reports indicate a loss of one trillion dollars to the countries of the Green Continent during the recent crisis, which was achieved in the shadow of their self-imposed sanctions on Russian gas. Considering the facts above, Fatih Birol, the executive director of the International Energy Agency, stated in an online press conference that the amount of reserves will decrease from 95% to 65% at the same time as consumption begins on the eve of winter.
He pointed out that despite the start of the war in Ukraine, Russia's transmission pipelines had sent almost normal amounts of gas to European countries in the first half of this year.
Explaining the situation of gas production and consumption in the coming year, he asked the European countries not to be falsely confident about the current situation.
Experts in the field of energy predict; If the price of gas for electricity production in Europe reaches the level of 210 euros per megawatt hour, according to economists' predictions, Europe will face an economic collapse rather than a recession.
