NOURNEWS - Oleg Nikolenko, the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, in a conversation with CNN, announced the holding of a meeting of Iranian and Ukrainian military experts regarding the claim made by Kyiv regarding Russia's use of Iran-made drones.
Without referring to the details of this meeting, he said: "The Ukrainian side will continue its strict measures to prevent Russia from using Iranian weapons in the war against Ukraine."
Following Kyiv's claim regarding Russia's use of Iranian drones in the conflicts in Ukraine, Iran requested a joint expert meeting with Ukrainian authorities to investigate these claims by presenting documentary evidence.
A few weeks ago, despite the agreement of the two countries to hold an expert meeting in Poland, the Ukrainian side announced that it would not participate in the meeting, an hour before the meeting!
With the continuous follow-up of Iran, an expert meeting was recently held between the two countries, but the Ukrainian side did not bring any defensible documents to prove the claims made.
With the agreement of the two countries, it was decided that the Ukrainian side will collect and present its documents regarding the raised claim for expert review in the upcoming joint meeting.
American and Ukrainian officials have previously said that Russia is using hundreds of drones it received from Iran in the war against Ukraine, without providing any evidence.
