What is Washington's definition of "constructive response"?

Considering the history of American bad faith and Europe's inaction, as well as the political behavior of the IAEA, which is not willing to give up even in the middle of negotiations, an agreement that does not have a strong guarantee and does not put an end to safeguard claims with a political approach, will definitely not be stable and reliable.

NOURNEWS - Earlier this week, "Nournews" had announced that the Islamic Republic of Iran would send the response to what the Americans had presented by the end of the week, this response was given to the coordinator of the European Union today.

The American side, which predicted that the nature of Iran's response would follow the same logic as before and did not reflect Washington's excesses, immediately tried to throw the ball in Iran's court.

In this regard; "Vedant Patel", the deputy spokesperson of the US Secretary of State, confirmed receiving Iran's response to the JCPOA negotiations through the European side and said: "We have received Tehran's response to our proposal from the European side and we are studying it, but unfortunately, Iran's response is not constructive."

In this regard, it is important to pay attention to several points:

First; America's behavior during the negotiations shows the only constructive response is the one that satisfies Washington's demands, and any response that seeks to satisfy and guarantee the demands of the other party is unproductive in their opinion.

Second; There has been no change in Iran's steadfast position regarding its readiness to join a strong, stable and reliable agreement, and Tehran, as from the beginning of the sanctions lifting negotiations, has proved if the other side approaches to be reasonable, the agreement is available, and Tehran showed this approach in words and deeds by presenting an innovative and professional solution.

Third; Considering the history of American bad faith and Europe's inaction, as well as the political behavior of the IAEA, which is not willing to give up even in the middle of negotiations, an agreement that does not have a strong guarantee and does not put an end to safeguard claims with a political approach will definitely not be stable and reliable and of course, there is no reason for Tehran to join it.

Fourth; In an agreement that is unstable and without guarantees, the main demand of Iran, which is economic benefit and the provision of investment opportunities for foreign companies in Iran, will not be realized, so such an agreement cannot be considered strong and balanced.

Fifth; Contrary to the ambitious approach of the United States, due to its belief in diplomacy to resolve disputes, Iran has always kept the negotiation table active by presenting new initiatives and will continue this process as long as there is a possibility of convergence of viewpoints to reach a strong agreement.

Sixth; During the negotiations, the Western side has repeatedly tried to introduce Iran's stand on its logical and principled positions as an obstacle to reaching an agreement, using extra-negotiation tools and heavy media pressure, and inducing that Tehran is basically not seeking to reach an agreement.

This behavior of America continues after providing Iran's last response to this country's proposals by calling Iran's response "non-constructive", and it shows that apparently Washington is not ready to take responsibility for its past mistakes after months of difficult and complicated negotiations by showing good faith in accepting Iran's logical and legal demands.

The behavior of the Americans so far has prolonged the process of negotiations and reaching an agreement, but the passage of time will not change Iran's approach towards the resolute pursuit of the interests of the Iranian nation.

The remarkable thing is that, although back and forth is part of the essence of negotiation and the United States has also emphasized this fact; "We are examining Iran's response to respond to it", but in order to maintain the forward trend prevailing in this stage of negotiations until reaching an agreement, the adoption of a "political decision" by Washington is a necessary and mandatory step that can end long negotiations, through bringing a balanced result.
