Why are the three European countries present in the Vienna negotiations still passive?
While all the negotiating parties in Vienna have clearly stated their positions regarding the recent talks, the three countries France, England and Germany, whose representatives were not present at this round of talks, have not yet reacted in this regard.
NOURNEWS - Yesterday, Monday, August 8, after the negotiations between the delegations in Vienna, it was announced that "Enrique Mora", the deputy coordinator of the European Union, presented ideas to the negotiators in Vienna and it is necessary to examine these ideas more closely in the capitals.
Based on this, it was announced that the negotiating delegations will leave Vienna and return to the capitals to continue the consultations after summarizing the opinions on the proposed ideas.
Last night and immediately after the end of the talks, "Josep Borrell", Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and the coordinator of the European Union, contacted the Foreign Minister of Iran while positively evaluating the recent round of negotiations in Vienna, and noted that relative progress has been made in the talks.
Hossein Amirabdollahian, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Itan, also emphasized Iran's will and seriousness to reach a strong and reliable agreement and stated: "The final agreement must ensure the rights and interests of the Iranian nation and ensure the effective and stable lifting of sanctions."
Expressing his hope that other parties, especially the United States, would avoid taking unconstructive positions, he said: "All parties are expected to show determination and seriousness to reach the final text of the agreement."
The United States of America also announced shortly after the end of the Vienna talks in a statement by a spokesperson for the Secretary of Foreign Affairs of this country:
"The US is ready for a quick agreement based on the text proposed by the European Union."
While the representative of Russia took a clear position and positively evaluated the talks as well and he expressed hope that the parties to the negotiations would reach a final agreement, but the three countries of France, England and Germany, whose representatives were not present at this round of talks, have not yet reacted in this regard.
Naturally, it is only possible to reach the final text of the agreement when all the parties involved in the negotiations, including the three European countries mentioned, approve it, but it is not clear why these countries, who in the middle of the negotiations, issued a unilateral statement that clearly supports one of America's excesses, have chosen the path of silence, now?
Although according to the records of the previous behavior of England, France and Germany in the negotiations of the JCPOA and aftermath, it is possible to raise speculations in the analysis of the reasons for the silence of the three European countries, but definitely in the coming days and by presenting a summary of the opinions of the countries present in the negotiations about the ideas raised by Enrique Mora, a more detailed profile will be obtained in this regard.
