Environmental conservation: Religious and revolutionary
On the occasion of Iran's National Tree Planting Day and Natural Resources Week, Grand Ayatollah Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, planted two saplings this Friday morning. Describing plants and greenery as an important factor in life and in building human civilization, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution referred to the religious aspects of caring for the environment by saying, “Planting trees and saplings is one of the good deeds that is stressed in the Islamic religious law.”
