There is still no final text agreed upon in the Vienna Negotiations

The political analyst said that the Vienna Negotiations were coming to an end, adding that there was no final agreed text yet.

NOURNEWS -  Mohammad Marandi, a political analyst regarding the Vienna talks on lifting sanctions on the Islamic Republic of Iran, said that there is no final text agreed upon in the Vienna talks, and called on the American and European parties not to postpone the negotiations.

He tweeted “I am amazed that some journalists think the Vienna Negotiations are over. There is no final agreed text yet. We are nearing the end, and the United States and three European countries must not procrastinate.”

Earlier, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hossein Amir Abdollahian, in a telephone conversation with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, criticized the United States for raising new issues. And said: “the Islamic Republic of Iran is serious about reaching a good, strong and stable agreement.”

And he said in a telephone conversation with the High Representative of the European Union for foreign affairs and security policy Josep Borrell on Thursday: “Some issues regarding our national heroes are not negotiable.”

On Friday, the European Union's foreign policy chief Josep Borrell tweeted in conjunction with the eighth round of negotiations in Vienna: "The Vienna negotiations need to be suspended due to external reasons. “The final text is basically ready and on the table. As Coordinator, I will continue to work with my team to reach out to all p4+1 members and the United States to overcome the current situation and finalize the agreement.”

Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said on Twitter later: “The announced pause in the Vienna negotiations could pave the way for resolving the remaining issues and a final return, all parties will focus on the success of the negotiations. No external factor will affect our common will to move towards a collective agreement.”
