NOURNEWS – reports received by Nournews, show that at least one meeting has been held at the level of the head of the delegation with European parties every day for the past week, and the remaining issues have been discussed in detail in accordance with the new draft.
In addition, and contrary to some media speculations, the exchange of messages is in the form of "non-paper" and only through "Enrique Mora", EU Deputy Foreign Minister and Coordinator of the Dialogue, on a daily and continuous basis.
Meanwhile, some Western officials, including French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian, on Tuesday reiterated the slow pace of progress in the Vienna talks.
Since the beginning of the new negotiation process, the Iranian delegation has intensively participated in several meetings at various levels and has tried to accelerate the negotiation process in order to reach a good agreement on all remaining issues by providing innovative solutions and operational mechanisms.
In this regard; in many cases, meetings are even held simultaneously in order to move the remaining issues in parallel and as quickly as possible and bring them closer to an agreement.
However, in addition to the continuation of the "blame" game and the large volume of psychological operations by the Western media, the European delegations have played a largely passive role and, apart from commenting on Iran's proposals, have no new ideas or mechanisms to reduce or resolve issues. The rest are not provided!
In the meantime; some attempts by the Western parties to reconsider the agreed issues or to raise new demands in the negotiations have also slowed down the progress of the negotiations.
The constant absences of the senior Troika negotiators and the change of negotiators have further caused the talks to be interrupted and accelerated.
Nevertheless; at the insistence of the Iranian side, the negotiations are moving in the right direction and in a professional atmosphere, and if there is political will and the necessary decisions are made more quickly, especially by Washington, it is possible to reach an agreement within a reasonable time.
