She studied law at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and after graduating with honors, she entered the army prosecutor's office. In 1997, after specializing in the military tribunal, he was allowed to work as a military lawyer.
Yerushalmi graduated with a master's degree in law from Tel Aviv University in 1999 and at the same time served as an assistant professor in the Penal Code.
In 2003 she was sent to the United States for postgraduate study at the Charlottesville School of Law in Virginia.
The Zionist officer, who held various positions during her military service, including Senior Assistant Military Prosecutor, Legal Assistant to the Attorney General, Deputy Attorney General of the Central Command, Legal Supervisor and Head of Legislation and Communications at the Military Prosecutor's Office, served as a judge in 2007. She was appointed to head the Advisory and Legislation Division in 2015 in the jurisdictions of Stadekel, Central, Internal Front and Air Force, and in 2015 she was promoted to the rank of colonel.
