JCPOA ball in American’s court; Biden should not complicate the game!

Europeans are creating a diversionary atmosphere in the interest of U.S. by rising ridiculous issues such as the necessity of countries such as the Saudi regime in the process of retrieving the JCPOA or adding missile and regional issues to the principle of agreement, in order to marginalize the principle of "U.S. withdrawal from the JCPOA," "non-lifting sanctions" and "European disunity" in the process of implementing the deal, and replacing the Debtor and creditor.

NOURNEWS - During the U.S. presidential election, the Democratic campaign, focusing on keywords such as change and engagement, tried to instill in the world's public opinion that with the end of Trump's term and Biden's victory, the White House will take an approach to interaction with others by changing its policies and patterns of behavior.

One of the most important issues in this regard was the issue of the nuclear deal with Iran, which became one of the most important priorities of Democrats in the U.S. foreign policy field, given Trump's unilateral withdrawal from it in May 2018 and the consequences that followed.

Biden and his team's approach to the JCPOA, of course, has had ups and downs from "announcing preconditions for returning to the JCPOA, including missile and regional issues, and suspending steps to reduce Iran's commitment" to "returning to the JCPOA without preconditions," but they seem to be planning to adjust their positions and policies on the JCPOA in terms of Iran's behavior.

A review of the positions of Joe Biden, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan reinforces this proposition, stating that the new U.S. administration wants to return to the JCPOA without accepting the cost of Trump's behavior and from a conservative position, and to make Iran look bad and force it to accept renegotiations on issues in addition to nuclear.

Although this approach of Americans was accompanied by a setback after the passage of the Strategic Action for the Lifting of Sanctions and protecting the interests of the Iranian people, the White House again changed its greed for disputes in Iran after some behavior at home, subject to the suspension of steps to reduce Iran's commitment.

However, Iran's position on the JCPOA on the need to lift all sanctions is clear, and despite some disagreements between the government and parliament regarding the law, the government is implementing the law from the outset, and the mere return of the United States to the JCPOA has nothing to do with it.

Simply put, the U.S. request for Iran to cancel counter-measures has no legal rationale, and it is natural that the party that has withdrawn from the agreement not only has no right to bet, but must return to the deal by fulfilling its obligations and paying damages arising from a unilateral withdrawal.

Accordingly, it seems that the principle of such preconditions by the White House is mostly aimed at escaping Biden's election commitments, and the European Troika's positions, especially France's, are in full coordination with Washington and have no purpose other than to realize the U.S. no-cost return to the JCPOA.

In fact, Europeans are creating a deviant atmosphere in the U.S. interest by discussing ridiculous issues such as the necessity of countries such as the Saudi regime in the process of recovering the JCPOA or adding missile and regional issues to the principle of the deal, in order to marginalize the principle of "U.S. withdrawal from the JCPOA," "non-lifting sanctions" and "European disunity" in the process of implementing the deal, and replacing the labor and job demands.

If Sullivan has rightly acknowledged it, it will have no result other than to complicate the story, but the West should know that they are to blame for these complexities, not Iran, because Iran has done everything it has to do, but from now on, it is not going to remain in a deal that only one side is committed to, which means that the ball is on American ground and time is passing to their detriment.
