NOURNEWS - A day after Mustafa Adib withdrew from consultations on the formation of a new Lebanese cabinet, French President Emmanuel Macron unveiled his heartfelt words about Lebanon's future.
Macron first stressed that there was no evidence of Iran's role in preventing the formation of a Lebanese government, without mentioning foreign interference in Lebanon.
The Saudi monarch recently openly called for Hezbollah to be disarmed, and the Americans publicly called for a government without Hezbollah in Lebanon.
The French president cleverly and purposefully described the removal of Shiites from the cabinet and the war against Hezbollah as an irresponsible decision, emphasizing France's serious determination to cooperate with regional partners, including Iran, and supporting the idea of attacking Hezbollah as a precondition for the fall of Lebanon.
Macron further threatened the Lebanese with civil war, putting them at the crossroads of civil war or surrender, saying he had no fear of civil war, but that Hezbollah could not be an army to fight Israel in Syria and still be a viable political party respected in Lebanon!
Macron's remarks are a French translation of the Saudi king's interventionist demands for the disarmament of Hezbollah, a demand that the Lebanese people said a resounding "no" to in the 2018 parliamentary elections, and today paid off in the form of economic, political and economic warfare. They pay security.
While repeating the claims of Lebanese political groups opposed to the resistance, Macron has practically pointed the finger of blame at the resistance, with Hezbollah always pointing to the occupied territories as the number one enemy of Lebanon's territorial integrity, and all "legitimate" Lebanese governments always defending. Opponents of the weapons of resistance in Lebanon are those who themselves have a long history of crime and bloodshed during the Lebanese civil war, and Macron claims to respect the "Taif Agreement" in establishing a political balance in Lebanon, which Hezbollah aims to use under its own weapons. Preserved the protection of Lebanon's territorial integrity.
With these interpretations and in a situation where Lebanon is again grappling with the issue of electing a prime minister; "Saad Hariri" is waiting for the green light to accept this position in Riyadh, and since the continuation of the political vacuum in this situation is the heart desire of the Saudi regime, this will probably not happen before the November US elections.
