NOURNEWS - While a well-informed source told that Germany and the United Kingdom had offered to the United States to lift the non-targetive sanctions, an official denied the news and said: " There had not been any talks with the United States or European countries. The Europeans cannot be the initiators and carriers of a message or proposal to other countries without the consent of Iran, so these statements are not true."
Also, in response to reporters' questions, the spokesman of the Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while rejecting the news published in some media, quoting an anonymous source regarding the temporary lifting of part of the so-called non-targetive sanctions, called such statements " unrealistic news that its purpose is not clear."
It is not unlikely that the failure of US sanctions policies will be the subject of controversy between Europe and the United States, but what concerns the Islamic Republic of Iran is that unilateral US sanctions are illegal and oppressive and under UNSCR 2231, the United States is required to lift all sanctions that it has re-imposed by withdrawing from JCPOA.
