NOURNEWS- Nasser Mohi, a member of the Iraqi parliament's security and defense commission, said terrorism still exists in Iraq and that ISIS has not lost all its resources.
He added: "Overcoming ISIS requires a very extensive joint military operation, and in addition to military operations, we must fight ISIS intellectually and eliminate ISIS thinking."
"Overcoming ISIS requires the determination of the Iraqi government, and we hope for Mustafa al-Kazemi's government," said a member of the Iraqi parliament's Security and Defense Committee. The new Iraqi government has a major role to play in overcoming ISIS.
ISIS's movements have recently intensified in various Iraqi provinces, with Takfiris attacking army forces and the popular tribal and tribal mobilization. In addition, ISIS is setting fire to agricultural products in Diyala province. Meanwhile, Iraqi forces, especially the popular mobilization, have carried out extensive and successful operations against ISIS terrorists in recent days.
ISIS is supported by the United States and the Zionist regime, and the goal is to destabilize Iraq so that the United States can keep its troops in Iraq under this pretext.
