NOURNEWS- Amnesty International said in a statement that US support for the plan was a "green light to the Zionist regime" to continue its aggression and crimes.
The statement added that US support for the West Bank accession plan was a testament to Washington's and Israel's commitment to the rule of law.
Amnesty International also called on the international community to condemn the plan and to declare the Israeli settlement on Palestinian land "illegal."
On the other hand, the Council of Israeli Towns of the North West Bank announced that it has decided to confiscate dozens of acres of Palestinian agricultural land in the southwestern city of Jenin in the North West Bank for the development of Israeli settlements.
According to the Palestinian Information Center, a statement from the Israeli Town Council stated that a recreation center for Jewish youth is to be built near the town of Reyhan in the northwestern part of the country.
The settlement is being built on confiscated Palestinian agricultural land near the town.
