He added that the Taliban had not accepted the ceasefire and would continue to fight and kill.
A suicide bomber has killed at least 50 people and wounded at least five others in a suicide bombing near the northern city of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in eastern Afghanistan.
The Taliban has denied responsibility for the attack, which took place on the Pakistani border.
