NOURNEWS- In his televised speech, Ashraf Ghani expressed his condolences to the families of the victims of today's suicide attacks in Afghanistan and said: "I order the Afghan military-security forces to get out of the defensive situation and take an offensive against the Taliban and other terrorist groups."

He added that the Taliban had not accepted the ceasefire and would continue to fight and kill.

A suicide bomber has killed at least 50 people and wounded at least five others in a suicide bombing near the northern city of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in eastern Afghanistan.

The Taliban has denied responsibility for the attack, which took place on the Pakistani border.

The region is also said to be an area of ​​ISIS activity.

At the same time, west of Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, was the scene of a clash between police and armed assailants today, who targeted a hospital for borderless doctors.

The Taliban said it had not been involved in the attack, which killed at least four people and wounded five others.
