Turkey is infiltrating Yemen with Qatari support

A regional media outlet reported Turkey's covert operation to infiltrate Yemen's coastal areas, particularly Bab al-Mandeb, with Qatar's financial and political support.

NOURNEWS- According to Arab WikiLeaks, Turkey is increasing its presence in the south and coastal areas of Yemen, and is doing so to create a special position in Bab al-Mandeb.

This will be done with the political and financial support of Qatar and will cause concern in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

The Turkish operation is being carried out by tribal figures linked to the Muslim Brotherhood, and Turkish forces are currently conducting operations in Shabwa province and the Socotra and al-Makha areas of Taiz province.

Accordingly, Turkish forces are currently operating in Shabwa, under the auspices of the Humanitarian Aid Fund.

The Muslim Brotherhood hopes to take control of the Shabwa region and the nearby port in order to monitor key gas exports, as well as to control the coast to monitor the Arabian Sea, the report said. Have gates for a possible Turkish presence, as well as shipping and transporting vital shipments from a Turkish military base in Somalia.
