NOURNESWS- North Korea's official media on Friday criticized the southern neighbor for a recent military exercise with the United States, calling it a "provocative" move that would certainly provoke a backlash.
"The recent exercise was an opportunity to reiterate the obvious fact that the enemy remains the enemy at all times," the statement said in part.
South Korea held a joint air exercise with the United States on Wednesday, in the eyes of Pyongyang, which violates an agreement reached in 2018 to reduce tensions between the two Koreas.
Pyongyang also warned that from now on, everything will be back to pre-2018 agreement.
North Korea's warning comes as last week, after nearly a year of relative calm between the two countries, we saw clashes between their border forces.
