NOURNEWS- Recently, in an interview with the German news agency, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock asked the Arab countries to cooperate constructively for a peaceful solution between the Israeli regime and the Palestinians with the escalation of new conflicts in the Gaza Strip!
These statements were made while German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, during the first weeks of the Gaza war, was against the conclusion of any ceasefire and peace in the Gaza Strip.
Beyond that, the German government has repeatedly, in official positions regarding the Gaza war, brazenly called all the martyrdom of thousands of innocent Palestinian children as natural and among the inherent consequences of what it calls Israel's legitimate defense.
It even got to the point where Scholz, in sharp and disgusting positions, claimed that Israel has always adhered to all the international and human rights laws during the bombardment of Gaza; A claim that even Netanyahu and Ben-Gvir did not accept!
However; Now the Germans are talking about peace in the region and holding continuous negotiations between the European Union and the Arab League.
In analyzing the words of the German Foreign Minister, two important points should be considered:
Firstly; Germany's perception of the Gaza war is in clear conflict with what is happening in reality. Berlin thought that due to the absolute support of the West and the inaction of some Arab governments, Gaza would fall within two or three weeks and Hamas would be destroyed as promised by Netanyahu.
More importantly; The anti-Zionist wave in Berlin and other German cities has become an uncontrollable phenomenon for those in power in this European country, and in such a situation they are forced to refer to the keyword “peace”!
The second point is that Germany's request to the Arab League, specifically the three countries of Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Egypt, is aimed at the same two-state solution that Washington is trying to hide the defeat of the Zionists in the political arena by formalizing it.
Meanwhile, the scope and consequences of the defeat of the Zionists in the text and metatext of the Gaza war are far beyond what Scholz and Baerbock imagined!
The latest polls in Palestine show that the opposition to the two-state plan during the Gaza war has crystallized even more than before and a significant majority of the residents of Gaza and the West Bank are basically against holding such negotiations.
The desperation and crisis of the Germans are significant in such an equation, on the one hand, they have to pay for their support for the genocide of Palestinians by the occupation regime of Jerusalem, and on the other hand, they will not succeed in drawing the political goals considered by the White House and Tel Aviv.
Berlin can be considered an all-round loser during the Gaza war, which has not paid attention to the most minimal realities of the region and the world in its gamble of two losses.
