Passing diplomacy; New US game against Iran

New US move to propose an anti-Iranian resolution to the IAEA Board of Governors would turn any possibility of using the capacity of diplomacy to achieve a new situation into a ridiculous joke.

NOURNEWS - An official in an interview with "Nournews" in response to the significant action of the Biden administration in submitting the proposed anti-Iranian resolution to the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency, said: And the unveiling of the new US administration's militant intentions against Iran.

He described the nature of Biden's political campaign, which began and continues during the US presidential election, as a continuation of hostility to Iran, adding that issues such as the need for Iran to return to its commitments as a precondition for Washington to return to JCPOA are a diversion move to continue inaction and pressure on Iran.

The official said the Biden administration's emphasis on its intention to return to diplomacy was in stark contrast to the astonishing preconditions, and showed that the words and actions of the new White House tenants had nothing to do with each other.

He described the US move in presenting the draft of an anti-Iranian resolution to the IAEA Board of Governors as the end of diplomacy and negotiation, adding: It was clear to Iran, but this new move would turn any possibility of using the capacity of diplomacy to achieve a new situation into a ridiculous joke.

It is worth mentioning that the meeting of the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency is scheduled to start next Monday, during which the reports related to the increase of nuclear fuel production by Iran and the reduction of Tehran's cooperation with the IAEA will be examined.
