The adventurous voyage of Iranian tankers narrated by Captain of Fortun:

In recent weeks, the movement of five Iranian oil tankers carrying oil products to Venezuela has led to economic and trade cooperation between Tehran and Caracas, both of which are subject to the most unprecedented unilateral US sanctions, due to US direct opposition and threats. Within a limited time, dozens of media reports, analyzes and interpretations were published.

NOURNEWS - About 12 hours ago, the Fortune oil tanker was anchored on the shores of El Palita and unloading has been started.

The captain of the Fortune tanker, which is the first of five-fleet reached to the port of El Palita, said in a short telephone conversation with NOURNEWS about how it has traveled this long and adventurous voyage: “We entered the waters of Venezuela's exclusive economic zone around 11pm on May 24, by sailing through the Suez Canal, the Mediterranean Sea, the Strait of Gibraltar, the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean. Despite the presence of some military vessels in our route, it can be said that we did not face any particular disturbance.”

Referring to the presence of the Vice President, the Minister of Energy and the Minister of Defense of Venezuela in the port of "El Palita" to welcome the arrival of the Fortune oil tanker to the port, he said:

“By delivering the cargo to the destination country, we are so grateful that fulfilled our professional duty.”

"With our entry into Venezuela's exclusive economic waters, the country's military warships and helicopters escorted us to the port of El Palita in a completely professional manner," Captain added

The captain of the Iranian oil tanker "Fortune" pointed out that the whole process taken by the Islamic Republic of Iran to send this cargo to Venezuela is completely in accordance with international law on free trade and maritime rights and free shipping and has been done without any violation of protocols.

He added: "During the route of about 14000 km, all signal tracking systems have been turned on as always, and the naval operation has been carried out under completely natural conditions."

He stressed: "The success of this operation shows that international rules, regulations and treaties, including maritime freedom and the right to free trade between countries, take precedence over political goals, and this is for us seafarers who emphasize the fulfillment of our professional duty." It is very important

At the end of the conversation, the captain expressed hope that other Iranian tankers would enter the ports of Venezuela according to the plan. He said that the implementation of this mission also has unspoken points that the country's officials will definitely address in due course.

According to oil tanker tracking companies, cargoes sent to Venezuela by five Iranian tankers were loaded in the port of Shahid Raja'i in April this year and flowed to Venezuela via the Suez Canal, the Strait of Gibraltar and the Atlantic Ocean.

The shipments are said to be worth about $ 40 million to $ 50 million in regional markets.
