NOURNEWS - The North Korean state-run newspaper published pictures of new missiles tested by the North Korean government a few days ago, announcing that a new type of tactical guided missiles had been tested. According to the American Newsweek magazine, the warhead of this weapon has been upgraded to 2.5 tons using the main tactical guided missile technology that was previously developed.
Now the question is why North Korea has once again resorted to missile tests?
Although the Americans seek to justify North Korea's provocative actions and justify its policies against it, a closer look at developments in the history of the six-party talks, direct US-North Korea talks, and recent developments in the East Asia reveals other notable points.
The experience of the six-party talks and Washington's treatment of Pyongyang has sent the message that Americans have never been credible, and that a change of presidents will not change their behavior, as Biden did in his two months in the White House, as did previous presidents. It pursues anti-North Korean policies and uses threatening language against the country.
Pyongyang has realized that the only language understandable by the United States, is force, and Washington does not abide by any commitments, even the meeting between Trump and Kim Jong-un did not pave the way for Washington's commitment, so North Korea's recent missile strike could be a warning to Biden that if the process continues same as the past, they will react sharply.
On the other hand; North Korea's missile action will not be unrelated to recent US actions in East Asia. On the other hand, the US Secretary of State and Secretary of Defense traveled to South Korea, Japan, and even India, focusing on China and North Korea.
At the same time, Biden and other senior US officials have stressed the principle of sanctions and even the strengthening of their allies' military might against these countries, which, in addition to creating an arms race in East Asia, has provoked a backlash from Beijing and Pyongyang.
Therefore; China has announced an increase in its military budget and stressed its readiness for a state of war, while North Korea has demonstrated its readiness for critical US moves with a missile test.
Although Biden ostensibly claimed a return to international commitments and a compromise and negotiation approach, in practice, by increasing support for terrorist groups in West Asia, he insisted on overthrowing the Venezuelan regime, non-alignment with JCPOA, and sanctions on Iran, sent a message to many countries, including North Korea, that there is no correction in US behavior.
According to this; the behavior of the United States and Europe can be seen as the basis for North Korea's behavior in testing and strengthening its missile capability, which has led other countries, including North Korea, to such responses by insisting on policies of intimidation and non-alignment.
In fact, the main threat to global security is the behavior of the United States and its European allies in pursuing the illusions of the effectiveness of the policy of intimidation and pressure to impose their aspirations on other countries, while the world no longer accepts such behavior.
