Ali Shamkhani stated: The enemy had been seeking the martyrdom of Martyr Fakhrizadeh for 20 years.

He added: "Our intelligence services had predicted the location and time frame of the assassination of Martyr Fakhrizadeh, and his security team had been strengthened."

Shamkhani emphasized: Due to the frequency of news during these twenty years, unfortunately, the necessary seriousness was not applied and this time the enemy succeeded.
