In a statement delivered on Monday under the "Nuclear and Radiation Safety" agenda item at the quarterly meeting of the Board of Governors in Vienna, the delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran—referring to acts of aggression by the United States and the Zionist regime against Iran's nuclear facilities in the years 2026 and 2027—said that together, they bombed the UN Charter, the Statute of the International Atomic Energy Agency, and fundamental nuclear safety principles.
Recalling the concern expressed in the Agency’s General Conference Resolution 444 regarding the implications of attacks on nuclear facilities for radiation safety, the statement reads, This demonstrates the extent of the irresponsibility characterizing the joint acts of aggression by the United States and the Zionist regime against Iran’s peaceful, safeguards-subjected nuclear facilities.
Warning of the consequences of these actions, the Iranian delegation emphasized: "The normalization of such illegal attacks will be the least of the adverse consequences of these acts of aggression. Today, Iran is the target; tomorrow, it could be another country. Be vigilant and prepared. Welcome to the new global disorder."
