Baqaei said Al Busaidi will meet with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi to discuss bilateral and regional issues.

He described the visit as part of ongoing political consultations between Tehran and Muscat and efforts to strengthen bilateral cooperation.

The spokesperson added that, as two countries bordering the Strait of Hormuz, Iran and Oman maintain regular consultations aimed at contributing to peace and security in the region.

The visit comes amid continued diplomatic engagement between the two neighboring countries, he noted.
