Faraji faced India's Abhinandh Pradhivadhi in the Under-19 final of the WTT Youth Contender Laos and secured the championship with a 3-2 victory.

He won the first, fourth, and fifth games by scores of 15-13, 11-9, and 11-9, respectively, to lift the championship trophy.

During the tournament, Faraji defeated opponents from Hong Kong, South Korea, Chinese Taipei, and India on his way to the title.
