Iran’s FM holds telephone conversation with EU foreign policy chief

Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has held a phone call with the European Union’s foreign policy chief to review the latest regional and international developments and discuss ways to help reduce tensions.

Araghchi held a telephone conversation on Tuesday, July 28, with Kaja Kallas, the European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs.

The two officials exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments.

Both diplomats discussed possible steps to de-escalate tensions and preserve peace and stability in West Asia.
