The farewell and funeral procession for the pure and radiant bodies of the martyred Imam Khamenei and his family members in Tehran marked the unveiling of a new hard core of Iran's revolutionary forces.
Millions of people stretched across an extraordinary route—from Imam Hossein Square to Enghelab Square, and from there to Azadi Square, extending into the surrounding streets—chanting Allahu Akbar as they escorted the martyrs' bodies, as though they were being carried on the wings of angels.
International observers and media outlets have described this unprecedented event as the largest public gathering in history. By any measure, the "hard core of the Revolution" has now defined and consolidated the breadth of its popular support through this farewell and funeral procession. Today, people around the world stand in awe and admiration as they witness this extraordinary scene.
2. With this historic display, the Revolution's new hard core has entered the arena of domestic politics as well as regional and international engagement. The message of this unprecedented event in the history of the Islamic Republic was encapsulated in the following brief statement issued by Iran's Supreme National Security Council:
"Keep your eyes on Iran over the next few days. This is the very Iran you imagined you could bring to its knees within days."
This vast sea of mourners voiced two central slogans:
A. Resistance against the enemies.
B. Avenging the blood of Iran's martyred Leader.
3. Russian philosopher Alexander Dugin, reacting to the martyrdom of the Leader and the resilience of the Iranian nation, said:
"One who attains martyrdom, through that very sacrifice, reveals the truth of the matter and shows on which side of this historic confrontation justice truly stands."
The farewell and funeral ceremonies demonstrated that a new arena has emerged for rallying supporters and identifying those loyal to the Islamic Revolution in Iran, across the region, and throughout the world. Through his martyrdom, our beloved Leader declared what the truth of this struggle is and on which side justice stands.
The social capital of the Islamic Revolution is expanding as this truth becomes increasingly evident. The assets of this social capital are manifest not only in Iran but also across the region, throughout the world, and within the Axis of Resistance. The recognition of these assets has even been acknowledged by the enemy through its signature on the first clause of the memorandum of understanding.
4. The farewell and funeral ceremonies should not be viewed as a historical episode whose conclusion marks the end of the Iranian people's story.
Rather than the end of a journey, they represent the continuation of one. The God in whose name this Revolution was established is living, and the Imam of the Age, in whose name this nation stands, is alive and guides the people at every moment of their lives. Millions of Iranians gathered in Tehran to express, through the words of poet Mohammad Rasouli, the following message to their martyred Leader:
Though our hearts still bear the pain of your burning loss,
We give endless thanks that your successor remains among us.
A deputy who carries Khamenei's name and path,
The Leader of Iran is still Imam Khamenei.
The farewell and funeral ceremonies, marked by the slogan "We Must Rise" and the symbol of the clenched fist, will remain forever alive in the hearts and minds of the Iranian nation and the supporters of Islam.
