A Lasting Legacy of Honor

Today, the great nation of Iran mourns the farewell to a wise leader, an unwavering struggler, and the steadfast helmsman of the Islamic Revolution, Grand Ayatollah Khamenei. This farewell weighs heavily on our hearts and invites deep reflection. It is a sorrowful moment and one that carries a profound sense of responsibility, yet the legacy of his remarkable leadership will forever shine at the pinnacle of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Throughout these years, we witnessed firsthand that under the enlightened guidance of the Martyred Leader, science, technology, and the work of the nation's elites consistently remained among the country's highest priorities. His profound and farsighted vision regarded science not merely as a tool for material progress, but as a priceless asset for national strength, genuine independence, and spiritual authority. His insightful guidance continually inspired a spirit of knowledge and scientific advancement throughout society.

The Martyred Leader regarded the nation's elites as its guiding light and the driving force behind progress and innovation. This conviction became deeply embedded in the country's strategic policymaking, from the establishment and support of the National Elites Foundation to the formulation of strategic documents on emerging technologies and the prioritization of applied research.

Despite persistent efforts by hostile countries to obstruct Iran's scientific advancement, the Martyred Leader, through wisdom and prudent leadership, guided the nation toward scientific self-reliance and the development of indigenous knowledge. His support for knowledge-based companies, the expansion of science and technology parks, and encouragement of the country's elites to play an active role in scientific and technological development are among the tangible achievements that will forever secure his place in the history of Iranian science and technology. This represents only part of his enduring legacy.

The personality and exemplary conduct of the Martyred Leader were truly exceptional. His steadfastness in confronting challenges, perseverance on the path of truth, courage in making historic decisions, deep compassion for all segments of society, and remarkable insight into the demands of the times distinguished his leadership. He was not only a political leader, but also a learned Islamic scholar, a profound spiritual figure, and a teacher of ethics whose life embodied piety, humility, simplicity, and selfless service to God's people.

The achievements of the Martyred Leader's era are beyond measure. His unwavering resistance to global arrogance, preservation of Iran's territorial integrity and national dignity, elevation of the country's regional and international standing, expansion of Iran's scientific and critical infrastructure, and, above all, safeguarding and strengthening the nation's Iranian-Islamic identity stand among his most valuable accomplishments.

Today, in this moment of farewell, though filled with sorrow, we renew our pledge to continue his path with resolve and determination. The lessons of insight, perseverance, and self-confidence that we learned from him will remain our guiding light as we navigate the challenges ahead.

The scientific and technological legacy he championed will mark the beginning of even greater advances for our beloved Iran. With reliance on Almighty God and inspired by the Martyred Leader's vision and enduring thought, we will continue this path with even greater determination in the fields of science and technology. Through stronger support for the nation's elites, we will strive to elevate Iran to the highest peaks of progress and prosperity. This legacy of honor and scientific strength will endure forever.
